Rising anti-Semitism? One in eight Americans think Jews use Holocaust to get sympathy

No thank you. If you don't have an answer, just say so. Anti-zionism can be quite different than anti-semitism. Many Hassidic Jews for example are anti-zionist.

Oh, and by 'today's professors', you mean this one guy?

Smiling...wait, is your answer 'fair tax'?

I just blew soda out of my nose laughing so hard.

Someone just schooled a poster who calls himself "Rabbi" on anti-zionism v anti-semitism.

This is one for the archives!!!!!!!!
If you think anyone was schooled, it was you. Moron.
Anti-Zionism is usually simply anti semitism dressed up. As Martin Luther King knew many years ago.
No, it isn't, especially since they are enough Anti-Zionist Jews around.

Hilarious - Rabbi is one of the few people I've encountered who asks for a shovel when they are trying to get out of a hole.
Your ignorance is just astounding. Of course on this board there's a lot of that.

Kosh is right alongside of The Rabbi digging that far right hole to nowhere. The fact is that Kosh is an anti-semite. Ask him.

Nearly half of Americans hold anti-Semitic views, a survey has revealed. It also found that one in eight US citizens surveyed (13 percent) thought Jews used talking about the Holocaust to get sympathy.

What sane person doesn't think the Jews use the holocaust in that regard?
The only good news is there must be 7 people around who dont think that.

Firstly , it would be nice if it was clarified whether those who participated in the survey are anti-Judaism or anti-zionism.

Secondly, the vast majority of Zionists are either European or Russian whites. So the appellation "anti-semite" does not apply.

J
Wrong. Majority of Israelis are Sephardic Jews, or descendants of. Same Jews that go back to the destructions of the first and second temples.

Bullshit.

Let's take look at Benzion Mileikowsky aka Benzion Netanyahu - Bibi's dad

Benzion_Netanyahu_2007.jpg

Benzion Mileikowsky (later Netanyahu) was born in Warsaw in partitioned Poland which was under Russian control, to Sarah (Lurie) and the writer and Zionist activist Nathan Mileikowsky. Nathan was a rabbi who toured Europe and the United States, making speeches supporting Zionism. After Nathan took the family to Mandate Palestine (aliyah) in 1920, he changed the family name to Netanyahu. After living in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and Safed, the family settled in Jerusalem. Netanyahu studied in the David Yellin teachers seminary and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Although his father was a rabbi, Benzion was devoutly secular.[4] His younger brother, mathematician Elisha Netanyahu, became Dean of Sciences at the Technion. Netanyahu's father signed some of his articles with the name Netanyahu, the Hebrew translation of his first name (Hebrew for "God's gift"). It was a common practice for Zionist immigrants at the time to adopt a Hebrew name[5] and his son adopted this family name. He also used the pen name "Nitay."

In 1944, Netanyahu married Tzila Segal, whom he met during his studies in Palestine. The couple had three sons—Yonatan (1946–76), former commander of Sayeret Matkal, who was killed in action leading Operation Entebbe; Benjamin, (b. 1949), Israeli Prime Minister (1996–99, 2009–present); and Iddo (b. 1952), an Israeli physician, author and playwright. Netanyahu became a widower in 2000, when Tzila died. He died on the morning of April 30, 2012, in his Jerusalem home at the age of 102.[6]

Nearly half of Americans hold anti-Semitic views, a survey has revealed. It also found that one in eight US citizens surveyed (13 percent) thought Jews used talking about the Holocaust to get sympathy.

A "Gallup" asked 3,411 US adults about their attitudes toward USA Jewish citizens. It found that 45 percent polled believed at least one anti-Semitic view presented to them was “definitely or probably true.”

Many found clichés and stereotypes about Jews to be true. One in four believed Jewish people “chase money more than others,” while one in six people felt Jews thought they were better than other people and had too much power in the media.

The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism (CAA), which commissioned the study, said America was at a“tipping point” in its Annual Anti-Semitism Barometer report.

Around 6,768,855 Jewish people live in the USA, or 2.2 percent of the American population, according to CAA.

The survey also found that one in 10 people (11 percent) claimed Jews were not as honest in business as other people, while one in five believed their loyalty to Israel made US Jewish citizens less loyal to the US, and 10 percent of all surveyed said they would be unhappy if a relative married a Jewish person.

Last year, police recorded a record number of anti-Semitic attacks.

Anti Semites are Leftists... and as a Moderator on this very site recently noted:

THERE ARE NO LEFTIST AMERICANS.

What? Are you insane? Of course you are. But posting a bio of one Jew from Poland doesnt mean every Jew in Israel is from Poland.
What a nudnik.

Bibi's dad represents the demographics of all Israelis? Let's look at your diploma, or did you even graduate from high school?

Demographics of Israel show that majority of Jews are either Sephardic or Mizrahi Jews, or descendants of. Now I know that goes against the neo Nazi narrarative. Or maybe you can review Arafat's background, BORN AND RAISED IN EGYPT.

Also, ****-omacious...while a semite can be considered to be an Arab, the term "anti Semitism" refers to hatred of Jews ONLY. Yet another example of your ignorance:

To use a Jewish term, sounds like we've encountered a SHMUCK. Ha ha ha.

Gee, I wonder if Blacks use slavery to gain sympathy.
They do.
Of course since most blacks today probably are nearly as descended from slaveholders as they are slaves it's a tough case to make. Unlike the Holocaust where there are living survivors still walking around. Or "alleged survivors" as holocaust deniers like C0ntumacious probably believes.

Since Arabs are also Semitic - "anti-Semitism" also applies to them. Nutanyahoo and his hardline government are causing a rise in anti-Jewism.

The Best Way to Remember the Holocaust is by Bringing Muslims to Kill American Jews
68 percent of Muslims harbor anti-Semitic attitudes

The dumbest "refugees" meme the left has rolled out to date are the comparisons between the Holocaust refugee policies of FDR that kept out Jews and political leaders today who want to take genuine Christian and Yazidi refugees instead of fake economic Muslim migrants who pose serious terrorism threats.

Living in New York City, I've lost count of the number of Muslim terror plots against synagogues since 9/11. The previous Paris attack by Muslims targeted a Jewish supermarket. (Or as Obama put it, "random folks in a deli.")

Sure it's #NotAllMuslims. It's just enough of them that this behavior repeats itself time and time again. Until you end up with European cities like Malmo where there are so many Muslims that the Jews have to flee.

Because Muslims don't like non-Muslims and really don't like Jews.

Researchers found that the percentage expressing “favorable views” about Jews was uniformly low: Egypt, 2 percent; Jordan, 2 percent; Pakistan, 2 percent; Lebanon, 3 percent; Palestine, 4 percent; Turkey, 4 percent.

And yes, Muslims in the West also hate Jews.

Belgium: 68 percent of Muslims harbor anti-Semitic attitudes, compared to 21 percent overall;
Spain: 62 percent, compared to 29 percent overall;
Germany: 56 percent, compared to 16 percent overall;
Italy: 56 percent, compared to 29 percent overall;
United Kingdom: 54 percent, compared to 12 percent overall;
France: 49 percent, compared to 17 percent overall.

Theologically, Islam is violently anti-Semitic. Mohammed's final command was the ethnic cleansing of Jews. The shout Allahu Akbar originated from one of his massacres of Jews.

It's that simple. Muslims hate Jews. Bringing more Muslims to America makes the country more anti-Semitic. It promotes violence against Jews and harassment of Jews.

...

Bringing these people to America is like bringing Nazis here during the Holocaust to attack minorities here. It's just evil and wrong.

Rising anti-Semitism? One in eight Americans think Jews use Holocaust to get sympathy

1 in 8?

Golly... that's nearly precisely the estimated volume of true believing Marxists in the US. And there's nothing more anti-semitic than a communist... yet there is not a single communist on earth that has ANY kinship with America... thus there are NO Americans who 'think' that Jews use the Left's attempt to annihilate them from the face of the earth, for sympathy.

Yet... you claimed such to be a fact.

Hmm... now, what CAN we make of THAT?

Nice to see Americans have some hope of waking the hell up after all. Its amazing 2% of the population but pretty much control our media,political,financial and education systems.
Assuming that's true, which it isn't, you're actually giving them a complement for achieving such a status in the most powerful nation on earth, you Odorous moron.

Long lost cache of Holocaust documents found...

Couple uncover cache of lost Holocaust documents
Sun, Nov 22, 2015 - A vast and historically valuable trove of Holocaust-era documents, long thought destroyed during World War II, has been found hidden in a wall cavity by a couple renovating their Budapest apartment.

The haul of 6,300 documents are from a 1944 census that was a precursor to the intended liquidation of the Hungarian capital’s 200,000 Jews in Nazi death camps. Brigitte Berdefy, co-owner of the apartment overlooking Hungary’s parliament, said that in August, a worker detected paper after jamming a screwdriver through a crack in the wall. “We thought we’d ruined the neighbor’s wallpaper,” Berdefy said.

However, her husband Gabor peered through the crack and saw what looked like handwriting. Carefully removing each brick, the couple eased out about 61kg of dusty papers, many with bits of plaster caked on, but all more or less intact. With the ink still readable — thanks to a lack of air in the cavity and nicotine from the heavy-smoking former owner — the yellowed papers were given to the Budapest City Archives.

Istvan Kenyeres, head of the archives, was amazed. “Most wartime papers are more faded or rotten than medieval documents, [printed] on bad quality paper due to the rationing,” he said. “The content and scale of the finding is unprecedented,” he said. “It helps to fill a huge gap in the history of the Holocaust in Budapest.” Since September, restorers at the archives have been literally ironing the papers to study them, pausing occasionally when they spot someone famous among the scrawled names.

The May 1944 Budapest census was to identify houses to serve as holding locations for Jews before moving them to a planned walled ghetto in the city’s seventh district. Two months earlier, Nazi Germany had occupied Hungary and deportations in the countryside to the gas chambers of Auschwitz began almost immediately. The forms found in the Budapest apartment contain names of each building’s inhabitants, and whether they were Jewish or not, with total numbers of Christians and Jews marked in the corners. “Jewish people filled in the forms honestly, they refused to believe where this might end up,” Kenyeres said.
