Roughly 80% of all voters say U.S. needs secure borders, including 68% of Democrats: Harvard poll

What bothers me is why the house was lost. I feel many gop voters stayed home in a crucial election. This would be all done had enuff fly by voters showed up. We need the wall plus thousands of new patrol officers to patrol the whole border.

The republicans do not trust republican politicians.....they trust Trump, but can't stand the house and senate republicans...especially since they haven't funded the wall, or ended obamacare.... and too many republicans are short sighted, not seeing how dangerous the democrats are. Watching as john mccain broke his promise and voted against the modest repeal of obamacare sealed the deal....not funding the wall when they controlled the house and senate, sealed the deal..... and another thing....Never Trump republicans retired in large numbers last year, opening too many seats to democrats...had they simply stayed put, republicans would still have those seats...but they didn't want to be in office with Trump.....another reason to really dislike republican politicians....

The poll was conducted by Harvard/Harris for The Hill.

Shockingly the Washington Times was a little vague on some points.

Poll: Majorities oppose Trump's wall funding demand, call for compromise
They oppose the wall by a slight majority, but they support a "broad security barrier," whatever that means. The only reason there is any opposition to the wall is the fact that Dims have been demonizing it night and day. As long as you don't call it a wall, they support it.
When checking the 18 yr old vote compared with the 50 yr old voter one will see s clear direction of a more conservative mind. When that is the direction that then proves conservatives more wise than liberals
Except that the actual statistics don’t support the narrative that old people are mostly conservative.
Wrong dead wrong

It's not old people that are getting sick they will be more liberal to get more free stuff.

Use the 18 yr old data and the 45 to 65 yr olds

Past that Age don't count cause of dementia coming and needed more free stuff

Seems about right.. Apparently only 45 to 65 year olds count in your screwed up little world.

Counting past 65 years there are more variables

And the direction then will be thrown off. Dementia the big variable

But up
Unto around 65 there is s clear pattern

The younger the more liberal and the older the more conservative

Next does getting older help to learn or not. Help to learn what works and don't work. Yes indeed because of more data to look at

So we can say conservatives are clearly more wise than liberals

ALso they clearly know more what works and don't work

This is why democracy always commits suicide. Making less experience votes equal to more experienced

And making less logical votes equal to more logical

And this proves the democrat leaders as crooks to want the unwise to vote

Trump has the higher logic men in his side so he has the power to bring wisdom tests for voters before the destruction of America by crooked democrats and their low wisdom voters

Yes the Rino globalist republicans also wants the unwise to be free so they can rob the nation like the democrat leaders

The Dims are fooling themselves if they think opposing the border wall is a winning issue. Not only are they opposing that, they are opposing funding for more judges and for more beds in detention centers for illegal aliens waiting for their hearings.

A wide-reaching poll conducted by Harvard University reveals that majorities of U.S. voters — including Democrats — appear to agree with many of President Trump's most basic beliefs about immigration.

The findings reveal, for example, that eight out of 10 of all U.S. voters — 79 percent — say the U.S. needs secure borders; 93 percent of Republicans, 80 percent of independents and 68 percent of Democrats agree with that.

Another 79 percent of voters overall say immigration priorities should be granted on a person’s “ability to contribute to America”; 87 percent of Republicans, 79 percent of independents and 72 percent of Democrats agree.

Meanwhile, 68 percent overall oppose a lottery-based immigration system which is meant to ensure “greater diversity: in the U.S.; 78 percent of Republicans, 65 percent of independents and 62 percent of Democrats agree.

In addition, 61 percent overall say U.S. border security is inadequate; 84 percent of Republicans, 64 percent of independents and 40 percent of Democrats agree.
Secured borders isn't necessarily a wall.
Without a wall, you don't have secure border
The poll didn't ask respondents whether they think security can be achieved without a wall or not.
The opinion of USMB conservatives is not Representative of anything except the universe of Neo-Nazis in the USA.
It's representative of people who actually know something about reality, not dumbass snowflakes like you.

...and about truth.

I notice that the question of how many American believe that a wall is the best way to address the issue of border security has been omitted from your listing. That's because only 32% of Americans think building a wall is a good idea. Another 19% think it should be built if it can be proven to be effective.

Perspective | What do Americans think about the wall? The answer would surprise you if you read Drudge.

The problem is that walls aren't effective, and have outright failed everywhere they've been tried.
The poll I referenced say it's 46%, douchebag. And if you change the term to a "secure barrier" then it goes up to 54%. Opposition to the wall is almost entirely the result of fake media and snowflake demonization.

Exactly

Truth is conservatives are more wise than liberals

And the stupid brainwashing saying its degrees that prove that. Is simple brsinwashing for greed to rob the poor low logic students with debt and worthless degrees

Geeze bud, I literally just told you.
Youre going to get him confused again and he will claim he wasnt talking walls or border security.
You and the other idiot are the ones who are confused.
Says the clown that said the census cost $5B and then got mad and claimed he wasnt talking about a census.

What? Fingerboi has a history of getting shit wrong? No way!
Turds like you get things wrong every time you post. I spend so much time correcting your idiocies that it consumes most of my time on this forum. On the other hand, I get one thing wrong and I keep hearing about it for the next 5 years.

Ah, the whole world is out to get you, waahhhhh.

Here's a thought, do a little more research before you start a thread.

Gee, earlier today a snowflake tried to tell me the survey said the complete opposite thing.

According to lying traitor supporters, a very small minority give a crap about ensuring our sovereignty, securing the borders, enforcing existing Immigration laws, protecting US citizens, and ending federal law-violating sanctuary cities...

The same ones who said and agreed with Obama's claim that if you liked your plan and doctor you could keep them...

Wow, you really need to catch up. The survey showed that most Americans don't want the fucking wall. But with a little magic from the Washington Times and fingerboi they managed to really fuck up the truth.
Actually it showed most of them do want the wall if you simply relabel it and call it a "secure barrier."

That's like saying everybody loves fruit cake if you just call it dessert. You got it wrong, sorry.

Here's a thought: quite posting idiocies. Take a course in logic. Stay away from snowflake propaganda organs. Quit lying.

There are multiple polls, including Harvard that specifically asked about a border wall. it's not popular. So, in order for you to justify that you conflate border security with a border wall. It's extremely dishonest.

The Dims are fooling themselves if they think opposing the border wall is a winning issue. Not only are they opposing that, they are opposing funding for more judges and for more beds in detention centers for illegal aliens waiting for their hearings.

First, the poll is in the Moonie Times, which makes it suspect.
Secondly, no one is really against security on the border.... We are against a pointless wall to memorialize Trump's racism.

The term used was "border barrier," which is just a synonym for a wall. The other polls all have the same problems. The fake media has made the term "border wall" toxic.

No, it's not. A barrier could be a fence or an electronic barrier, both mentioned as popular among Americans. A wall specifically was not. I'm not sure which is sadder, you being fooled for the umpteenth time by right wing media or you fooling yourself for the same number.

I did resort to more logic, I looked at an entire poll not squeezed through right wing media to tel me what I want to hear. you always do this and end looking like an incurious buffoon because you won't take that extra step before posting. The wall is not popular, period.

Trump is the most dangerous thing ecomonically that the US has seen in many years and he's proving it once again. His last temper tantrum is costing us billions in local trade. And the longer the shutdown goes on the more billions it will cost. He says he wants to deal yet when he's offered a comprimise, he refuses. Your Diety needs his diaper changed.
