The killer chose Sandy Hook because it was a gun free zone and it had the youngest children...... the middle school and tje high school had police officers on campus, Sandy Hok did not have one. He also knew that elementary school childrn couldnt escape or resist the way older kids might.

Also.... as son as he heard the police sirens he stopped the kilingcand committed suicide, as reported by survivors....

The gun free zone status was the primary reason he chose that school
