The ironic thing about Palin, is that she was fairly economically progressive as governor.

Palin was actually on her way to being a person of merit before the opportunity to Clintonize the family bank account came a knockin'. It's difficult to believe there was ever a nanosecond she believed a nutball could win in 2008; Palin ain't the sharpest tack in the box, but she was almost certainly smart enough to sense a once in a lifetime financial opportunity - and take it.

Hard to knock anyone for doing that.

As suggested above, Palin was a progressive governor. It is easy to admire her for understanding that in a nation as degraded as the US is today it is okay to take a brass ring when one is offered. Further, I personally admire her for bagging Alaska upon realizing her Big Adventure with Colonel Windsock McCain finished her in Alaskan politics. She did some good for the state, then she did some good for herself and her family. Good for her.

In terms of her koolade fueled conversion to frenetic nutballism, it is probably real. Palin isn't all that smart, and unlike, say, Pigboy or Beck or Hannity, she probably has enough character to actually NEED to believe some of the bogusness she poots out her butt on the white trash of America. Soupy Sales and Larry Fine made decent livings making fools of themselves for money. No moral law suggets Palin should not profit from buffoonery.

He was senator of a state with 20 times Alaska's population and revenue.

Sarah Palin's criticisms of the GOP are all wrong. The Republican Party has a solid and traditional message real Americans believe in. Turning our backs on these values to win elections by becoming more like the democrats is hardly what our honorable party should do. I'm courious why you chose your own rant over quoting what was said in the link. Am I the only one so far to actually read it, because every one so far has made nothing but ignorant statements based on your words and not the link you referenced.

She actually said in a nut shell the the Republican message is fine, they have a marketing problem and need to quit preaching to just the base and spread the message to new markets.

That is not what I took away from her speech.

I think you're off your rocker... Palin is an intelligent, educated, CONSERVATIVE woman that just also happens to be HOT, which makes most fatass, repulsive libroid bitches green with envy.

But I DID watch her speech, and she was spot on. The "old guard" of the republican party that have turned into stinking RINO's like McCain have drug the party down with their spineless left leaning BS, and many have left BECAUSE of that. Palin said THAT is the problem. All the republican party needs to do is get BACK to what it is SUPPOSED to stand for. So now the republican party is enjoying a surge of new blood that is revitalizing the party with renewed courage to stand against liberalism, and is pushing back to get this country back on track to what it's supposed to be, a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a third world socialist shit hole.
