Saudi Arabia Is NOW Threatening the USA

his gifting of Syria to Assad and Putin despite chemical attacks.

That's fucking priceless lol

Obama is still POTUS? I'm glad you caught that because I didn't know. Wow; you sure are quick.

When did this forum become dedicated to only Trump?

Asshat

prolly about the same time you became a global idiot

You've been here just over a month. You think you can judge other members based on a few limited interactions? Just be quiet noob

Trump doesn't want to lose that arms deal--too many American jobs at risk. Is there really no other place we can buy our oil? Why not? Too many short sighted policies, if you ask me, for many, many years, when we should have been investing in getting away from oil burning technologies to begin with.
The problem with 'putting the Saudis in the place' is not their oil, but their control/influence on OPEC and the impact OPEC has on the value of the US dollar with their policy that only accepts USD for oil purchases.

If OPEC ends that policy, we will see hyper-inflation the likes of which the biggest Gold Bug in the world cant imagine.

We should replace the petrodollar with some kind of commodity if the Saudis do end their cooperation with u s, but the immediate impact will still be huge as nations around the world will dump suddenly useless dollars for whatever OPEC replaces the US dollar with.

Trump will blink; he's from New York for gods sake.

Trump is a tremendous negotiator, who knows our strengths. The Saudi's need us more than we need them. He will not "blink". He will cut a deal that benefits the U.S. This is a mere bargaining chip. He now has the upper hand.

Read his books for God's sake.

Trump NEVER wrote a goddamn book; he utilized ghost writers FFS.

Dude, Soros pays you way too much!

Saudis ‘reject’ threat of U.S. sanctions over Khashoggi disappearance, vowing ‘greater action’ in retaliation

“The Kingdom affirms its total rejection of any threats and attempts to undermine it, whether by threatening to impose economic sanctions, using political pressures, or repeating false accusations,” the official Saudi Press Agency said.

Grant Thornton chief economist Diane Swonk read the Saudi statement as a threat to rein in oil production and thereby push global energy prices higher.
Looks like a tangible threat to reduce oil production and raise oil prices.
Strongmen the world over react the same way, trading short term “wins” for long-term pain.

Did the US threaten sanctions?
Trump said there would be "severe punishment." He was not more specific than that.

He said the same thing about Putin
Over the weekend, Trump also said "They deny it." Sound familiar? All we need is the "I believe him" and we've got a perfect rerun.

All that means is that Trump is living in a magical fairy land

Khashoggi case: Saudi Arabia vows to retaliate against any sanctions - CNN

But in a strongly worded op-ed published later on Sunday, Turki Aldakhil, general manager of the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya news channel, warned that if the US imposed sanctions on Riyadh "it will stab its own economy to death," cause oil prices to reach as high as $200 a barrel, lead Riyadh to permit a Russian military base in the city of Tabuk, and drive the Middle East into the arms of Iran.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, Trump needs to double down on these assholes, like we ALL know he does, and put the Saudis in their little high chair.

BUT, we ALL know that Trump will do nothing; why?
Because we all know that Trump is bought & paid for by $$$$$$$$.

The Saudis & King Salman will grab Trump by his crotch, right where Trump likes it.

If Trump has any cojones whatsoever, maybe we can finally find out that the Saudis are not our friends but only the terrorists we always knew they are.
Calm down, snowflake. :itsok:

But you see: Trump is playing a losing game of chess.
1. He attacks our allies
2. He attacks the free press.
3. He sucks up to authoritarians & dictators
4. He starts trade wars
5. All of these have consequences

Now we have a POTUS that is
1. owned by the Russians
2. is looking like he is owned by the Saudis
3. is putting US warships off the Chinese coast
4. is currently presiding over a major negative market correction
5. will be the harbinger of a very nasty, major war

It's all coming into alignment & view. Pence & his evangelicals gotta be loving this.
Thanks Donald

And yet we're kicking ass around the globe and at home.
It must really suck being a dem these days.
We are? In what way?

Call of the day: Don’t rule out $400 oil if the U.S. sanctions Saudi Arabia

“If U.S. sanctions are imposed on Saudi Arabia, we will be facing an economic disaster that would rock the entire world,” he wrote in an op-ed. “If the price of oil reaching $80 angered President Trump, no one should rule out the price jumping to $100, or $200, or even double that figure.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow, $400 a BBL crude; I guess Baby Trump is gonna cave to his murderous terrorist buddies

Dude, Soros pays you way too much!

You obviously don't know shit about Trump, nor the books published that have been accredited to Trump.

If you climb out from under that goddamn rock you hide under all day long & get out in the real world, then you might learn a thing, or two. Maybe.

The Saudis are right -- the US should never impose sanctions on them -- it is economic suicide......there has to be a way we can blame Iran more for everything and give the Saudis cover...

How do we know it wasn't Iran who killed the journalist -- or even Hillary? I am sure her and Soros played a part in all of this

I can’t believe the Saudis are this stupid

What did they think would happen if the guy walks in and doesn’t walk out?

If they wanted him dead, they should have anonymously wacked him out in public.....that is what Putin does

That's what chop-chop square is for.

They aren't this stupid.

Let's see the evidence.

Ask the Turks....they have it on tape
The planning, abduction, interrogation, torture and murder

This is the part where you play stupid and say...
Blah, blah, blah........no evidence

The Turks have changed their story several times as it gets questioned and debunked. You say they have it on tape, yet they won't release because it would give away where they have cameras hidden. Honestly do you buy that? Claiming they have it on tape is already giving away where they have cameras hidden.

I believe the Turks
Not wanting to reveal your intellegence gathering is expected

They have the tapes and they will be heard by those who can do something about them

If the Saudis want to play hard ball we can always use it here instead.
