That's how I see it, too.

It's automatic for anti-gun lefties to say it's wrong for people to have guns, even as their very lives are threatened. They don't want the bad guys to get hurt or killed, apparently. Actually, I think they are just worried that it will be proven yet again that guns can save lives and people don't have to die at the hands of home invaders. It supports a damn good argument for why we have second amendment rights.

Leftists ignore the murders committed by criminals and only point out the rare instance where someone with a legal gun shoots someone. The assumption is always that the legal gun owner should not have fired their weapon, regardless of circumstances. They insist that anyone who owns a gun for the purpose of protection really just dreams of shooting people. They just don't get it. No one blames the Obama's, Pelosi or Reid for having armed guards, but the average person is wrong to want the same kind of security.

This dispatcher is echoing the sentiments of the Obama administration and other leftwing lunatics. She should be fired for saying something so incredible stupid under the circumstances. Luckily, the would-be victim was able to think for herself.
