As with most of what MindWars posts, the thread summary is complete bullshit.

She was discharged for lengthy pattern of bad conduct and some groups have twisted it into religious persecution, which of course is immediately swallowed by MindWars who we know is the most gullible dupe on the forum.

Her charges included failing to appear at her place of duty as ordered, disrespecting of a commissioned officer in relation to that incident, lying about a medical excuse when disobeying direct orders to wear the proper uniform, and yes refusing to obey an order by her superior to take down a sign. The bible quote was the least serious of what got her kicked out, and that wasn't even because it was religious it was because it was a shared workspace and she repeatedly refused orders to take the sign down. You can't have a fit functioning military unit when people think they can pick and choose which orders to obey, it doesn't work that way.

It isn't. IN fact, that would be a violation of military regulations. Now more than likely, in most cases, someone would complain to that person's superior and the picture would be taken down.

Probably what happened in this case was the Officer or NCO involved kept up this verse after people complained and refused to take it down.

Okay most of the time we agree but not on this. That is not her office. It's a marine Corp issues room used as an office and anything non marine Corp used or issued in that office must be marine Corp approved. Had she added that to her uniform she would be in the brig.
