No wonder why Trumps approval is at the highest right now.
•Transcript shows no conditionality
•Zelensky: no quid pro quo/pressure
•Ukraine didn't know of aid pause
•No Dem witness testified that POTUS said any conditionality
•Ukraine got aid, did nothing for it
•Trump strengthened Ukraine support
1. The transcript clearly demonstrated that Trump viewed Ukraine as personally indebted to him.
2. Hardly exculpatory. This is the leader of a nation that is still subject to Trump’s whims. These statements should be considered in this context.
3. Factually untrue
4. Circumstantial evidence all points to conditionality. No testimony has disproven this.
5. Hardly exculpatory. Aid was released only after the whistleblower report and the circumstances of exactly how it was released remain ambiguous.
6. So what? That’s not a relevant issue.
