My Deputy Director is a right-wing Libertarian.

He hates Obama. He hates Liberals. He hates Gays.

Today he said that the partial govt. shutdown was "no big deal", and only did things like preventing folks from seeing the pandas at the National Zoo.

How many right-wing Libertarians agree with this POV?

other than the folks who aren't getting paid, though they will receive back pay, it really is not a big deal

GOP Playbook

1. It is not our fault
2. Even if it is our fault, it is no big deal

what about the Vets who can't register for VA benefits?

what about the juvenile cancer patients who can't get treatment at the NIH?

what about the FAA and NTSB investigations that can't take place?

what about the FDA inspections that have been suspended?

all of this is meaningless huh?

The House passed several bills to cover most of the above. Your move Harry Reid/Barack Obama.

Meanwhile...

what about the Utah National Guard's mechanical bull?

Oh, they are getting that...

why don't the GOP cowards just pass a bill to fund the whole thing?

Better question: why does the Congress not pass every spending bill piecemeal? Hell there would be no deficit or CR or debt limit to worry about. lol
