Sessions Spoke Twice With Russian Ambassador During Trump’s Presidential Campaign

Ok retard, what did Flynn get fired for if "CNN" was lying about his lying?

The claim he got fired is a lie in and of itself.

What the fuck is wrong with you? I'm serious, what kind of mental dysfunction do you have to have to still try to say that Flynn simply decided to leave on his own volition?

He was asked by Trump to hand in resignation and he did, any SANE person understands that this is just a firing by another name. NOT YOU obviously.
So, we are to ignore all context with sessions answer and cut the phrase out to make it a lie. With your statements however we need to include context?

This thread is full of people seeing only what they want to see. Clearly the phrasing was crap but we really do not know if Sessions was trying to hide something or not as the CONTEXT that the question was answered in certainly could be taken as Sessions claims he took it.

That is what seems to be consistently ignored.

.

Sessions already answered the question in context.

Sessions - "Sen. Franken, I'm not aware of any of those activities."

Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) spoke twice in 2016 with Russia's ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, but did not mention this during his confirmation hearing to become U.S. attorney general. Sessions was asked about possible contacts between President Trump's campaign and the Russian government. (Victoria Walker/The Washington Post)

Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) spoke twice last year with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Justice Department officials said, encounters he did not disclose when asked about possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow during Sessions’s confirmation hearing to become attorney general.

One of the meetings was a private conversation between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that took place in September in the senator’s office, at the height of what U.S. intelligence officials say was a Russian cyber campaign to upend the U.S. presidential race.

The previously undisclosed discussions could fuel new congressional calls for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russia’s alleged role in the 2016 presidential election. As attorney general, Sessions oversees the Justice Department and the FBI, which have been leading investigations into Russian meddling and any links to Trump’s associates. He has so far resisted calls to recuse himself.

When Sessions spoke with Kislyak in July and September, the senator was a senior member of the influential Armed Services Committee as well as one of Trump’s top foreign policy advisers. Sessions played a prominent role supporting Trump on the stump after formally joining the campaign in February 2016.

Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose

Obama Administration Rushed to Preserve Intelligence of Russian Election Hacking

Apparently Sessions lied, under oath, about having contact with Russia during Trump's campaign. Therefore, he must recuse himself from any Trump-Russia investigations - and he must be investigated. In hindsight - President Obama should have blown the whistle on all this while he was still in office.

BFD snowflake. Senators talk to other leaders. Besides after Holder and Lynch demrats have no room to talk about AG's.

Trump supporters threw Molotov cocktails at Hillary supporters - now we're throwing them back. Enjoy...

Trump has pissed off all the wrong people. The NYT and Washington Post won't rest until they've exposed every dark corner of the corrupt Trump Administration. Oh happy day...

How does one lie to an hypothetical question?

Hypothetical question? I don't know. That's why it must be thoroughly investigated.
