I said this above. Violent crime is actually at historic lows in the US. Nearly half of 1990 rates it’s not an overall crime problem it’s mass shootings.We need to know everything about this shooter and an in depth investigation into his medical history, mental history, what meds he takes, his family, etc. instead of wringing hands over what tool he used to realize his horrendous actions. Concentrating on guns is really absolving the perp of responsibility.
What’s unique about mass shootings? Well, in the 90’s assault rifles were banned. Wasn’t a great bill but it was something.
