Zone1 Should A Handful Of Billionaires Own More Wealth Than The Bottom 50% Of All Americans?

Who is doing the forcing? Who is putting the gun to their head?

Because the alternative is starving or becoming homeless. That's the "gun to the head". You either sell yourself to a capitalist eight hours daily or more, subjecting yourself to that employer's totalitarian regime or you starve. That's not much of a choice.

So no one is literally putting a gun to anyone's head, right?

Who is the one forcing them to work for them?

Do you have some examples of people who actually starved because of the employer's totalitarian regime?

Or maybe some people who have said they had no choice?

Because again... I'm not seeing any protests. Even you said there's no one protesting, right? So where are all these people who you claim are forced to work for totalitarian regime employers.

Who is being exploited now?

The employees are. The employer hires you for $12 hourly, eight hours daily, but you produce $1000 daily in products and services or more. He takes the difference. That's one of the ways capitalists exploit employees. Under capitalism, human beings are reduced to the machinery of production. You are sold in a "labor market", hence you're commodified, and reduced to a commodity i.e. product. There are no elections in the workplace, it's an absolute dictatorship.

Why aren't they protesting then?

No actual gun is needed, just the prospect of starving to death or losing your home. That's how people are forced to sell themselves to a capitalist.

Who are the totalitarian regime employers forcing the people to work for them? Can you name some companies?

I already answered that question.
No. You didn't answer that question already.

Why are all of these people you claim are being exploited by totalitarian regime employers NOT protesting about being forced to work for totalitarian regime employers? It's a fair question.

People have to eat and have a roof over their heads, and the only way to have that is if they sell themselves to a capitalist. Can a person live without eating? Is housing important ding?

So who are the totalitarian regime employers that are responsible for that? Can you name some companies or not?

I answered that question. Blacks didn't protest either under Jim Crow laws, at all times either. Were they not exploited and abused? Your line of reasoning is flawed. The working class in America does sometimes protest but in general, at the moment, most workers are simply trying to survive and they're not as organized as they once were in the past. Back in the early 1900s, in the 1930s, millions of American workers were unionized and they did protest and strike.

Any company that is run like a totalitarian regime, without holding elections, and treating workers like subjects, fits the criteria.

That's not answering the question at all. It's not even an attempt to answer the question.

Why are all of these people you claim are being exploited by totalitarian regime employers NOT protesting about being forced to work for totalitarian regime employers? It's a fair question.

Because just like blacks didn't organize mass protests for many decades while being abused and mistreated, the working class in America isn't organized, hence not protesting in mass. There was a time when the working class was much more organized than it is today, and they did take to the streets in mass protests.

There aren't any protests because it's not the problem you are trying to make it out to be.

Practically all companies are run like totalitarian regimes. The owner is like a feudal lord, over his employees. There are no elections in the workplace.
You can't name any companies because it's not the problem you are trying to make it out to be.
