Should elected democrats undermine Trump as the GOP undermined Obama?

Tax on Companies that ship jobs overseas- A bill that would have eliminated a tax break that companies get when they ship jobs overseas.

There is no tax break to ship jobs overseas.
It does make a nice soundbite for idiot liberals.

Democratic lawmakers think it’s unfair that a company can take a deduction for moving costs when those costs include money spent transporting jobs out of the country. To remedy this, Senate Democrats proposed the Bring Jobs Home Act in 2012 and again in 2014. The bill failed both times. The Bring Jobs Home Act would have eliminated the standard deduction for moving expenses for businesses relocating overseas.

So you think not getting the moving tax deduction would stop one company from leaving the US? Do you even understand what a write-off is?

No wonder they voted it down. It wouldn't have done any good.

True......BUT there are tax breaks.....NOT just for shipping jobs overseas but for any company's relocation INCLUDING those companies that ship jobs overseas.

I'm always glad when you can admit your mistakes. Bravo!

Yes, you're admitting your error. Thanks.

but for any company's relocation

Yes, moving expenses for businesses have always been deductible.

INCLUDING those companies that ship jobs overseas

I've always wondered, a 48-foot long, 9 ft 6 in tall, 8 ft 6 in wide standard container fits how many jobs exactly?

There must be a grown up around your trailer park to help with your reading comprehension....If not, what is this country coming to...... LOL

So when you admitted there was no tax break for shipping out jobs you weren't admitting your mistake?

Dude, if they ever piss test you at work, you know you're gonna get fired.

I might ask the same of you. Nobody gets a tax break for moving a company overseas. They get moving deductions and not just for moving out of the country, for moving anywhere.

You know TeddyBear....when one wrestles with pigs like you, etc......Here, now go brush your tooth....

Earlier this year, the $4.1 trillion annual budget plan by Obama -- nearly always deemed "dead on arrival" to the Republican-controlled Congress -- appeared particularly lifeless this year: Republicans said before the document even arrived they would break the long precedent of hearing from the President's budget chief as they draft their own fiscal blueprint.

Always remember that McConnell and company met from Obama's first days as president and concluded that their MOST important role was to ensure that Obama would only be a one-term president and that anything that Obama proposed (even former GOP initiatives) should be met with elected GOPers' opposition.

Should the same be done with the Trump administration? Will we gain have a do-nothing (except constant opposition) congress?

The Democratic Party lacks the media, financial and grassroots infrastructure to obstruct a Republican President.

Consider this.

If a Republican Senator or House Representative has their name appear on ANY legislation signed by Obama - even if that legislation is filled with Republican items - that Senator will be destroyed in the next primary.

The Left doesn't have this. Look at the stuff they passed for Bush. It will blow your mind.

The Republicans have one rule: when DemocRat is in the White House, he is to be 100% obstructed BECAUSE any legislative success enjoyed by a Democratic President will result in a harder election cycle.

The Republican Party is 100% obedient to this goal. The Democrats, by contrast, are a disorganized mess. The last time they had balls was with LBJ. Since then they have been Republican Lite.

OK, moron....I'll bring the issue down to your junior high level....

We give tax breaks to businesses who relocate......Yes or No???

Should we give those same tax breaks to businesses that relocate overseas....
Yes or No?

Di Obama want to eliminate those tax break for those businesses that relocate overseas?
Yes or No?

Did republicans who take bribes from these companies that relocate overseas, reject the elimination of those tax breaks?
Yes or No?

You and the rest of your ilk should just look and respond to Post #71

No, the truth is Democrats and Republicans have always worked together in the past.......at least to an extent.

DumBama didn't want to work with anybody. It was his way or the highway.

Hint: I'm ALWAYS thinking more than one step ahead ;)

Perhaps I'll try the same:

Would eliminating moving tax deductions stop one company from moving anywhere? No.

Interesting question........

HOWEVER, we tax payers ARE giving tax breaks to those who relocate overseas...At the very fucking least, let us NOT purchase the rope to hang ourselves with.

Absolutely!!! Undermine him on infrastructure spending, Obstruct him on Obamacare replacement. Oppose him on trade renegotiation. Fight him on rebuilding the inner cities and education reform. I'd love to see a country completely free of Democrat influence...and with your help, we can see that dream come to fruition!

California will never be red the loons run that state.
