The US Constitution does not place any restrictions on the racial identity of presidential candidates.

Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution sets out the eligibility requirements to serve as President, which include being a natural-born citizen of the United States, at least 35 years old, and a resident of the country for at least 14 years. Race is not mentioned as a factor in determining eligibility to run for President.

As a result, Americans of any racial identity can technically run for President as long as they meet the other constitutional requirements.
