There is no such reference made regard the citizenship of the mother. You are out and out lying.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.

Your own post shows you are the one lying. The kid must be subject to the jurisdiction of america. The kid inherits the nationality of the mother and is subject to the political jurisdiction of that country. Why do you think the authors put in that phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,"????
