Sod Busters Crying The Blues Over Tariffs

Keep in mind, folks, that Trump completely pussed out on his trade war and granted exemptions to the countries we have the biggest steel and aluminum trade deficits with. Essentialy, Trump protected their industries by removing all of their competitors, meaning they will be selling us more and at a higher price.

Hey squatter...didn't I tell you my threads ain't open to sacks of shit like you?

Your "facts" are an idiot's fantasy acquired from leftist turd writers who don't know a soy bean from a pickle.
Tariffs are leftist by nature. When did you become a liberal, snowflake?

Tarriffs were one of the original methods of funding the federal government.
They’re always a method of funding government because they are, essentially, a form of taxation.

Yes, one of the original ones in the constitution, and have nothing to do with socialism.
BIg gubmint intervening on a massive scale, controlling people’s purchases and forcing them to pay more by artificial means? The Constitution’s not pure, buddy. That’s why there are so many amendments. Don’t be surprised a little socialism snuck in there. Be surprised that you endorse it.

The government needs some form of revenue and most libertarians (small l) support taxes on commerce vs. income anyway.

Farmers always cry poor...always. We have tons of farms here and you should see the "toys" they have.....air conditioned tractors, four wheelers galore, and trucks guaranteed to cost 50,000

Yep, BIG AG killed the family farm and bought them out at auction....they have plenty of lobbying power and leftist Trump-hating shitheads in the media to turn opinion in their favor.....real patriots that bunch.

I don't support tariffs unless they are specific and reciprocal.....the leftist turds here didn't make a peep when Barry put a tariff on foreign steel...hilarious watching them pretend they know something about economics.

Well commerce taxes adversely affect the middle and lower classes that struggle to afford them. So I can understand why you, as a Trump republican, would support that.

Unless you eliminate all their taxes, any tax affects people who have to pay them.

Commerce taxes impact people the more $$ they spend, and of course there can be certain exceptions.

People who can’t buy much buying less has a more negative impact on them than people who can buy a lot buying less

Horn wont ever wrap his little brain around that one.

Well I am sure you know more about the agricultural business than the farmers do. I am sure that they will take reasurrance from that as they plan their crops for this year and next.

Oh by the way- we are not the only place China can buy pork or soybeans.

One of my grandfathers was a farmer, clown....I remember after he died, my granny put the farm into the "food bank" and was paid NOT to grow crops....the market has been rigged for years to prop up farm prices. And yeah, China can buy pork and soybeans from south america....pork full of worms and soybeans fertilized with human feces....yum yum.

Oh- one of your grandfathers was a farmer clown?

I know farmers who are actual farmers now- and I have had these conversations with them.

Unlike what your Granpappy Clown was doing 50 years ago.

And this could send American farmers into bankruptcy. Sure the big corporate farms will do just fine- but the farmers who own their own farms in Kansas and Nebraska- this could ruin lots of farmers.

But it is obvious that is fine with you.

And people who do not pay at least something into government don't really have s stake in it.

Representation without taxation.

Any tax affects someone with less income as opposed to more income.

unless you don't tax the low income people at all, and that means they have no stake in government.
