I thought you might be a drummer from your description! But I'm confused. There are several drummers I really like, and Ringo is one of them. Not only do I dig his unique left-handed-groove-on-a-right-handed-kit signature but his timing is famously impeccable. What am I missing?

Don't know. I've been wrong before. I formed my opinion of him before I knew much about it myself. Perhaps I haven't been fair to him all these years.
