Duh. The point was Hawkings idiotic hypocrisy saying he didn't know then calling him a demagogueThen goes onto say DT is a 'demagogue'. People with high IQ's rarely have any wisdom.Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking may have a good grasp of the workings of the universe, but he says he can't understand Donald Trump's popularity. Hawking told ITV that he has no explanation for the likely GOP president nominee's success. (May 31) AP

Stephen Hawking can understand the universe, but not Donald Trump
If you knew what "demagogue" meant, you'd understand why Hawking said that about Trump.
Here..................I'll even give you the definition of the word from dictionary.com
demagogue
or demagog
[dem-uh-gog, -gawg]
noun
1. a person, especially an orator or political leader, who gains power and popularity by arousing the emotions, passions, and prejudices of the people.
2. (in ancient times) a leader of the people.
verb (used with object), demagogued, demagoguing.
3. to treat or manipulate (a political issue) in the manner of a demagogue; obscure or distort with emotionalism, prejudice, etc.
verb (used without object), demagogued, demagoguing.
4. to speak or act like a demagogue.
And............in the Trump University trial, it's come out that the people who were selling courses were told to use emotional language to appeal to the people so they could get them to buy more courses they didn't need.
Not only that, but in "The Art of the Deal", Trump himself writes that the best way to get people to do what you want is to appeal to their emotions.
Nope, the word demagogue fits Trump to a T.
He said he didn't understand it (probably because Hawking works more with logic than being swayed by emotion), and after saying he didn't understand his appeal to the people, it must be because he's a demagogue.
Most adults use logic when making decisions, because making decisions based on emotion usually ends up being the wrong one.
