LOL: Stupid Jews.

Bare in mind, I'm pro Israel. But I just have to laugh that these nit wits are overwhelmingly supporting Obama while he keeps telling them to bend over and grab their ankles.

Seventy eight percent of Jews voted for Obama in 2008. And now, despite everything he does, the latest Gallup polls show that 63 percent of Jews are still supporting Obama.

Anti Semites care. Wash your white sheet please.

Oh STFU, his comment doesn't make him a bigot. Rather he speaks the TRUTH. As a Jew, that was raised by wealthy liberal parents I can contest to this. My dad hasn't made less that $250K in few decades, he has over a million in the bank and in investments, he is pro-Israel, yet he is a huge Obama and Democrat supporter. He will once again donate big to Obama and Durbin! He isn't the only one. Jews in large numbers in states where they matter (NY, FL, NJ, IL, NV) will come out for Obama again. They keep NY and NJ Democratic. If they switched in those states, then they could make make both in NY and NJ in play. FL they have always been an important swing vote.

Jews on average are more wealthy and have higher income (that is statistical), yet they tend to be more liberal. Back on the topic Jews are politically stupid!

That was some good demagogue'ing. Seriously though, I lol'd when he said that his commitment to Israel's security was unshakeable.

Well go for it.

What policy has Obama rolled out that jepordized Israel's security?

He cut defense funding for Israel?

And there's no "demagoguing" here..it was the US that essentially created the state in the first place. If Obama was backing the creation of the Palestinian state..unilaterally..it would have gotten done.

He didn't.

The U.S. didn't create anything. Jews fought for their land, most western countries did not support them they were helped by other Jews around the world. their weapons were mostly supplied or smuggled in from the Czechs

The US role was crucial in the creation of Israel. The US was the first nation to recognize Israel. Without US aid in the coming years Israel would have been defeated.

Here’s what Bush said in January, 2008:

There should be an end to the occupation that began in 1967…The agreement must establish Palestine as a homeland for the Palestinian people, just as Israel is a homeland for the Jewish people.

Achieving an agreement will require painful political concessions by both sides…While territory is an issue for both parties to decide, I believe that any peace agreement between them [the Israelis and Palestinians] will require mutually agreed adjustments to the armistice lines of 1949 to reflect current realities and to ensure that the Palestinian state is viable and contiguous.

And here’s what Obama said:

So while the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, a secure Israel. The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. We believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their full potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.

The difference between those statements? Simple. Bush is a Republican, and Obama’s a Democrat. That’s all that matters to America’s wingnuts.

Wrong what aid? Humanitarian aid? Food? We send humanitarian aid all around the world, we should’ve let the Jews starve? The U.S. "Created" Israel didn’t happen

Military aid in 1973. With the USSR resupplying Egypt, without the US resupplying Israel the Arabs would have regrouped. There is no doubt that Israel won the day, however they were on their last tank of gas so to speak. With news of US airlift the Egyptians, while angered by it, were convinced by the USSR to sue for peace.

Since then there has been no doubt that the US would treat an attack on Israel as an attack on the US.

Look at Jillian.

Some Jews are just flat out stupid.

A majority of Jews, both her and in Israel, think the Likud wingnuts desire of perpetual war is bullshit. Go figure.

Like the right here, they can only win by division. Most American Jews know the bullshit that the American Christian kooks are selling, i.e. they'll help them get to the end of times and convert them along the way.

Jews aren't a stupid people.

63% are.

I'd have to see the full context of the speech and other statements. His statement is not fully clear. Exactly what does he mean by "occupation" etc. But if he is calling for what he seems to be calling for then I have no problem calling Bush an idiot too. We all know he phoned out for his second term. No surprise to see him making dumbass statements though.

Well it's not like the US position on the matter has been a secret. Here's one from 2005 with link to the entire thing.

Any final status agreement must be reached between the two parties, and changes to the 1949 Armistice lines must be mutually agreed to. A viable two-state solution must ensure contiguity of the West Bank, and a state of scattered territories will not work. There must also be meaningful linkages between the West Bank and Gaza. This is the position of the United States today, it will be the position of the United States at the time of final status negotiations.
President Welcomes Palestinian President Abbas to the White House

President Obama has not changed the US position one iota.

^^^

There is some difference to what Bush and Obama have stated though. Obama called for a return to the 67 borders and some of those territories that Israel took were already given in treaties with Egypt and Jordan. So Obama was being a bit of a dumbass when he said what he said.

Bush referred to the other Palestinian territories also then occupied at that time; like the West Bank.

Personally, I think the two state solution is bunk. If the Palestinians were peaceful they never would have been occupied for Israel to ensure its safety. They walk lock step with Hamas for hell's sake. I personally think Israel is too kind. They just need to boot them the hell out. But arabs don't even want them. I think that's what those treaties were about. You keep the land but don't send those degenerates into our countries.

For the first 25yrs of the existence of the modern state of Israel virtually no military aid from the U.S. government. To say that the U.S. “created” Israel or anybody else for that matter is a flat out lie. The Jews created, rejuvenated the land, fought and died for it.. No one else.

Without USA, Israel would be what Jews have been in world's history for the last 2,000 years: Nothing.
Without USA, the world would write again enough stories into Jewish hostory-book for the Jews to wail at their wall.

A Friendship Dating to 1976 Resonates in 2012

romney-articleInline.jpg

The two young men had woefully little in common: one was a wealthy Mormon from Michigan, the other a middle-class Jew from Israel.

But in 1976, the lives of Mitt Romney and Benjamin Netanyahu intersected, briefly but indelibly, in the 16th-floor offices of the Boston Consulting Group, where both had been recruited as corporate advisers. At the most formative time of their careers, they sized each other up during the firm’s weekly brainstorming sessions, absorbing the same profoundly analytical view of the world.

That shared experience decades ago led to a warm friendship, little known to outsiders, that is now rich with political intrigue. Mr. Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, is making the case for military action against Iran as Mr. Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee, is attacking the Obama administration for not supporting Mr. Netanyahu more robustly.

The relationship between Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Romney — nurtured over meals in Boston, New York and Jerusalem, strengthened by a network of mutual friends and heightened by their conservative ideologies — has resulted in an unusually frank exchange of advice and insights on topics like politics, economics and the Middle East.

When Mr. Romney was the governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Netanyahu offered him firsthand pointers on how to shrink the size of government. When Mr. Netanyahu wanted to encourage pension funds to divest from businesses tied to Iran, Mr. Romney counseled him on which American officials to meet with

You're a hater, like I said before you hate Jews, You hate Mormons, you hate religion, you hate the rich , you hate evil corporations who are working to "destroy the middle class", you are generally a miserable person who looks to blame others for your misery sad really

So you're admitting you can't argue the point at hand, eh?

Okay, once again.

How is Israel not an "Apartheid" state? Because they AParatheid is based on religion instead of race?

Now, if you want to argue that pointing out facts that destroy your little fantasy world that rich people and your magic sky pixie actually give a fuck about you makes me a 'hater', have at it. That should be funny to watch.

Umm...Why discuss anything based on your premise, it seems you and haters like you focus way too much on Israel and ignore the fact that the Arabs and the rest of the muslims kill and torture their own people, they gun them down in the streets, execute homosexuals ect.. No need to waste time with you on that subject. And successful people are not your enemy we should all aspire to be rich and successful. that’s not a bad thing, it's called capitalism. It's big powerful overreaching government that screws up that system not “evil” rich people

Those Arab states are demanding we pay billions to prop them up and then insiste we go to war every few years to protect them from whatever bad guy threatens their little fantasy.

Rich people are my enemy if their "success" usually involves running roughshod over me and mine to get more money than they really need. Even Jesus saw that was bad. Yes, it's called capitalism and capitalism is evil. It dictates the worst people doing things for the worst reasons can accomplish something good.

But you'll go whining about the gummit being "overreaching" when their greed is what empowers it.
