American’s lost millions of jobs because of NAFTA. It was an executive agreement which is different than a treaty. Same bullshit Obama pull with Iran nuclear deal. Treaties are ratified by Senate. Executive agreements can be pulled by a new President at anytime.

The Senate did vote on NAFTA dumbfuck. It passed the Senate with 34 Republicans and 27 Democrats voting for it.

that doesn't make it a good deal. both parties have voted for a lot of crap in the past.

Face it gator, Trump played his hand with Mexico and won. He understands how to deal with other countries, other leaders, and takes to crap from any of them.

He is doing the JOB of president much better than any of his recent predecessors.

It's because Trump doesn't take any shit that has the Mexicans worried. They are looking at China and saying "We don't want to be part of that!"

New government in Mexico seems to understand the importance of a country actually enforcing borders. After all, what they have agreed to do it to ENFORCE THEIR OWN BORDERS!
If they could they would already have been doing it.
They always could and didn’t act until DJT put the fear factor on their asses.
Riiiight. They can't. dOnald tRump knows they can't. If they could he'd lose his pet talking point.

.

I did not comment on if it were a good deal or not, just corrected the lie that the Senate did not vote on it.

Do try and keep up.

Again, what exactly do you think Trump won?

Maybe you missed this part:

Mexico promises to deploy its National Guard throughout Mexico, particularly at the border, increase actions to dismantle human trafficking operations to smuggle individuals across the border, and take extra steps to coordinate with the American government to share information and "better protect and secure our common border," according to a statement from the State Department.

What Trump won was a reduction and quite possibly the elimination of migrants tracking their way to the United States. He won by having the Mexican government assist in this goal which helps our border patrol greatly. He won because he found away around the obstructionist Democrat led Congress who wouldn't lift a finger to stop the problems at the southern border.

There is no law that states asylum seekers must be hosted by the US government. They applied for asylum and now they can wait somewhere else.
Not really. The Mexican authorities are already stretched to the limit. They don't really have any more effort to give.

tRump caved as usual. His original demand was tariffs tariffs and more tariffs until the immigrants stop. He settled for far less than that.

What makes you think Mexico is stretched to their limits? It sure doesn't seem that way unless they have very fragile limits. He caved on nothing. He demanded Mexico stopped being the gateway for immigration to the US and he got it.
No, he didn't. He got some promises to try.

And don't you think if they had a way to stop it they already would have?
If they don’t meet Trump’s expectations he will fuck them up.
And lose the support of the GOP Senate. That's why he backed down.

No they wouldn't because the drug lords and human traffickers likely had people at the top paid off. Trump threatened the economy of the entire country. Now their priorities have changed.
Doubtful.

Trump didn't back down, Mexico folded you tard. :itsok:

They gave Trump some vague promise just like when the threatened to close the border...and the backed down both times with nothing real to show for it.

Typo. My bad. NAFTA. It's still in force until (if) tRump's renamed version is ratified by congress. It is a zero tariff agreement.

Tariffs are decided by the President, not Congress or treaties that were fraudulently made. Trump doesn't need any agreement to exercise his duty as the executive branch of our country.
NAFTA was fraudulently made?

Do tell.

If there were any restrictions on the constitutional right of the executive branch (as you are claiming) then yes it was. But the truth is you are making it all up. There is no treaty that states the President cannot inflict tariffs when he feels necessary. If he couldn't, the Democrats would have jumped on that months ago.
Again, you're kidding, right? There are many restrictions on the powers of the executive branch. Does the phrase "separate but equal" mean anything to you?

Nafta was approbed by congress and signed as a law by Clinton in 1998. It's not just an executive order that can be voided on a whim.

Nope. They are saying "just smile and nod, he'll be gone in a few more months".

.

What did Trump get out of this "win"? What has changed in Mexico? All he got was some vague promises and 6000 Mexican troops getting a vacation to southern Mexico.

They gave Trump some vague promise just like when the threatened to close the border...and the backed down both times with nothing real to show for it.

We get it, you people have sour grapes and are so petty you deny Trump an ounce of recognition for anything he's done for the country. That's why America finds you people disgusting.

You lost again. Trump won again. Simple

The truth is painful, but it is good for you. What did Trump get from Mexico other than some vague promises?

I was not playing the game, I am just a spectator like you, thus I could not lose.

But I did predict with 100% accuracy what would happen.

So, tell us...what is different in Mexico today as compared to yesterday in regards to immigration?

Just relax snowflake while team Trump runs the country. :itsok:
