Teacher in Ireland arrested and put in prison for not using woke pronouns

Not allowed to be there because he refused to play make believe.

and there is a good debate to be had over if that was right or not.

But there is no debate that he ignored the school and came on their property after being told not to, and he ignored a court order not to do so. Those are not up for discussion, they are facts.

And if he had done what he was supposed to do he might have been able to show they were wrong.

But instead he choose instead to trespass where he was not allowed to be
He did what he was supposed to do; TEACH!!!

The Board are in the wrong. BIG TIME!!

Greg

Fascism, not semi-fascism.

It's what they all voted for in Ireland and around the woke world, like Germans who voted for Nazis back in the day.

Make no mistake, democracy is how the National Socialists came to power.
So he got arrested for violating a court order not for refusing to use pronouns.

But then again there is no such thing as freedom of speech in Europe so what do you expect?

You basically defend punishing ThoughtCrime, figures as much.

I am defending the right of the school to make such a choice. Just like I defend the baker to choose if they wanted to bake a cake or not, or the photographer not to shoot a wedding they did not wish.

IT DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER.

He was told to stay off the school property, something the school has the legal right to do.

There is a difference between this and that, you just don't see it.

One involves reality, the other involves kids being gaslighted into thinking they can change genders/sexes.

He did not IGNORE the school; he rightly told the school that the charge of "Gross Misconduct" was inappropriate and slanderous (my words; not sure exactly what he said) and frankly probably illegal and the consequent direction invalid. I figure he will sue for that.

And that does not take away the school's right to do so.

Again, this is the difference between you and I. You will only fight for rights and actions you agree with, I will fight for rights even if I do not personally agree with them.

What did Rosa Parks violate, or Plessey?

What did many of the people protesting Segregation violate?
This guy ain't Rosa Parks.

His employer , the school, told him to stay off their property he refused he was arrested for that.

His employer could have also fired him for not following school policy regarding preferred pronouns.

You don't have to agree with the pronoun bullshit, I don't, but he was not unjustly arrested.

So any employer can remove a person for "gross misconduct" when it does NOT meet the requirements of the Labour Laws??? My God man you are a Union's worst nightmare!!!!!

It was an employment dispute where the School does not meet the standard of burden of proof for "Gross Misconduct". It was a bullying tactic and a gross calumny directed at the teacher in question. It is that simple, Gator.

The South had the "right" to blast protesters with water hoses during the Civil Rights movement.

Lawful Neutral usually ends up being Lawful Evil.

Yes he did. He ignored their rule for him not to come on the property.

When I got out of the Marine Corps I was hired by WalMart for an accelerated manger training program, along with lots of other senior NCOs and junior officers.

I was fired 2 year later because the manger in the store I was at was threatened by me. So she found a BS reason to get rid of me. Had I kept coming to work pretending like I was still a manger guess what would have happened to me? The same thing that happened to this guy

The root cause of this is the Pronoun bullshit.

Yes, I think an employer can remove a person for any reason they wish.

And yes, I am not a huge fan of unions.
