No, that's not true. Maybe in 0% of PUBLIC schools in America. But separation of church and state is why they can't teach it in public schools. However... not teaching evolution in schools? That means... no dinosaurs, that coal and oil is a total lie in how it is produced... not to mention several other things that prove the Earth is more than 3,000 years old. In fact MILLIONS of years old.

Private schools don't teach creationism. I went to a religious school on account of my privileged upbringing. I got really angry when they taught the evolution heresy, but they never stopped.

I'd actually be happy if creationism was being taught in schools (which it isn't, AT ALL). I think we need a happy medium between the two, where we use Creationism but make everyone happy by replacing God the father with the god, Kek in the story. 1. Most 'Creationists' fall into the category of 'Theistic Evolutionist' and do not have a problem with Evolution being a part of the Creation process at all whatsoever. The Catholic church and most Protestant churches take this position on the topic if any at all.

Because Evolution is FACT. Things have been carbon dated to be older than how old the Bible says the Earth is.

My position has always been that the Big Bang theory occurred, however, there had to be a higher power that created the matter that started it. I can't say it is God, Allah, Buddha, or whomever... just that there is a higher power, and they aren't necessarily still affecting our lives today.

The Secretary of Education is nothing but a bureaucrat who overseas government grants and programs. If Falwell get's the nod, it will be Trump's acknowledgement of the Evangelical vote. Maybe Falwell and Pence could hold a Wed. night prayer meeting. Donald is gonna need it.
