Th Report vs The Tapes

It's not sarcasm if it's accurate...and it's accurate
Funny how you convenitly forget that Rosenstine was also involved in the whole thing. But when you have a lot of air between your ears you have a problem understanding simple English. Good for you. Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that you understand very little.

Wasn't the job to review the report?

Very good you get a gold star for understanding that Rod was involved. Now do you also understand that he was part of Barr's report on the Mueller investigation? If so you get another gold star which would put you two stars brighter then Lush.

Newsflash douchebag...you will never shut me up.

I realize that you require attention and I will provide just enough to keep you hopping

Review would mean review, summarize means to summarize. If they were supposed to review, it’s laughable that a comprehensive review took place in 10 hours of work.

Just my opinion.

Trump has said repeatedly he is fine with the report being released Barr has said he will release everything that he legally can release you loons pretending like you don’t know that is getting beyond pathetic.

They expected Rachel Maddow to have something to rant about by now.

Thank god some work faster and more thoroughly then you think they should. Chances are if you were responsible for the review we would probably be expecting it by 2024.

Chances are you don't like that Mueller caught numerous Trump hires red handed of felonies.... Chances are you wish they were working in the white house right now. Chances are you don't like the rule of law unless it persecutes someone you don't like. Chances are you're an idiot. Nah...you're an idiot; there is no chance involved.

It is much like the OJ Verdict; 9 months of testimony, hundreds of exhibits, hundreds of witnesses, less than 240 minutes of deliberation....

I'm not saying the conclusions were wrong; spending less than 10 hours to review this much data is not an effective review.

Just my opinion.

Got to love it leftists always resort to calling names. They always yell and claim rule of law unless it is one of their partisan hacks then that idea is thrown out the window.
Spend all the time you want to look around the forum the only thing you will see me saying about those that were indicted is that most of it happened long before Trump even announced for office. But I can not fault you for an imagination.

Might it be that Mueller might have given a breakdown of what he found? Not saying he did but just something a smart person would do and a smart person might consider.

Two years and over 2,000 subpoenas and over 500 deposed witnesses not to mention gestapo midnight raids and the crazy angry left isn't satisfied that there was no evidence of collusion?

I'm struck by the similarities. I'm referring to the Nixon Watergate tapes that brought down Nixon.

The fight over those tapes looks to be very similar to how the Trump Admin is treating the Mueller report.

When the existence of the taping system and the tapes themselves became known a real food fight bgan between Congress, the courts, and the Nixon Administration. The first defense by the Nixon Admin was that they were covered by the ubiquitous "Executive Privilege". The courts struck that down...ruling that the public had a right to know if there were illegal activities taking place in the White House .

The next defense attempt was to release "selected tapes". Obviously with the goal of controlling the message and appearing to be transparent while actually hiding anything deemed damaging. That failed in the Courts.

The next attempt was pretty ridiculous but was presented as serious. The White House offered to let Dem Senator Stennis listen to the tapes and issue a report. That sounds kind of reasonable until you realize that Stennis was effectively deaf. LOL. Yea. That didn't fly either.

Ultimately and rather quickly the Court forced the turnover of the tapes. They really didn't have a "smoking gun" as people talk about it. They alluded to a lot of stuff in cryptic terms but more than anything they showed the President's character..his anti-semitism, his racism, and his paranoia

We don't KNOW what is in the Mueller report but we DO know that this White House is resisting it's release in very similar ways to how the Nixon White House resisted releasing those tapes.

The Report needs to be released...in its entirety...and NOW

100% CORRECT..........What we got from Barr (aka, Trump's latest stooge) is the equivalent (paraphrasing someone else) of Barr having just read Tolstoy's War and Peace and handing out a report that basically states....
"It was about Napoleon invading Russia.....The Russians didn't like it...Napoleon lost in the end."

I debate in the way I'm debated.

You're not that interesting. I'm happy that Mueller put so many Trump hires behind bars. Why Trump has a habit of hiring felons...well, that is something he should apologize for.

Might it be that Mueller might have given a breakdown of what he found? Not saying he did but just something a smart person would do and a smart person might consider.

Possibly. Seems like it would be more valid coming from the OIC instead of Barr paraphrasing it to serve his master.

Unless the first page was Muller's own executive summary of his conclusions. You know, something like, "Here's what we concluded, and here's the index to the supporting documentation".

You don't dump hundreds of pages of a report without something like that.

You're likely right about that.

Still; wouldn't you like to have seen the AG if he is really an impartial steward of the statutes that govern such things to have looked into it a bit more than a few hours on the weekend?

I'm still sort of aghast that given Clinton sat with an independent counsel and answered questions under oath....the AG didn't insist that Mueller subpoena the President. After all...if you're investigating some high level chicanery at XYZ Company, the first guy you'd want to talk to is the CEO of XYZ Company, right?

I look forward to hearing why the subpoena wasn't even issued.
