"Star Wars" evolved into many other things that we should be grateful that we have. The program continued under various names under both Bush's, Clinton, and now Obama. We should be grateful that we've been able to work on it for so long.

I was alive and voted for Reagan and he was the man. He made us proud to me Americans. There was never any doubt the country he loved. Very unlike what we have in the WH today. Reagan wasn't perfect but he was a leader, he inspired people and what more could we want from a president?

I was in California when Reagon was governor, and my perspective says that you are the uninformed. No one with any common sense thought Reagon was the second coming then, or later, when he became President Reagan. However, those of us with common sense, did like the ideas that Reagan brought to the table. They were valid then, they are valid today, and they will be valid a century from now.

I also remember the headlines and the liberal establishment of California, screaming that Reagan was going to push California into the sea. He was going to release all the immates of the insane asylums, empty out the prisons, and do every other sort of bad things, just because he wanted a little fiscal responsibility for California. The left wing is still screaming BS today.
