A report Thursday from ADP and Moody’s Analytics cast an even brighter light on what is becoming one of the most important economic stories of 2018:
the difficulty employers are having in finding qualified employees to fill a record 6.7 million job openings.

  • Truck drivers are in perilously low supply,
  • Silicon Valley continues to struggle to fill vacancies, and
  • employers across the grid are coping with a skills mismatch
as the economy edges ever closer to full employment.

“Business’ number one problem is finding qualified workers. At the current pace of job growth, if sustained, this problem is set to get much worse,” Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, said in a statement. “These labor shortages will only intensify across all industries and company sizes.”
The U.S. labor shortage is reaching a critical point

Now WHY does a Trump presidency provide a business environment where THERE ARE MORE JOBS available than people to fill them?

And it was so evident that EVEN OBAMA said there never were "shovel ready jobs"!
"Remember ‘shovel-ready projects.' Those were construction projects in the 2009 stimulus bill that were supposed to get moving right away ... ‘Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected,' Obama said." (David Jackson, "Obama Jokes About 'Shovel-Ready Projects'," USA Today, 6/13/11)

Sadly many Americans have no knowledge of what you post. They have been brainwashed by the elite media to believe he truly was the Messiah.

Many of these same Americans think Trump a Nazi, child abuser, white supremacist, racist, sexist, homophobic....etc.....................the power of the elite media owned by a handful of billionaires, is evident.

We live is CRAZY times.

I will say this..the transportation index and oil prices are two very reliable leading indicators. And worker shortages translate to inflation. I am also a little worried about an "index bubble". I still plan on taking some profit and rotating a portion out in the next few months. September was my original goal. I am trying to stick to that.

What would be a huge help is if Trump can mover some of those drawing welfare to working. That will relieve both inflationary and fiscal pressures. They will never go voluntarily so they will have to be cut off. Some of the third generation single mothers in the slums Democrats built will starve in the streets before working but most will learn.

Almost a decade of the worst economy in decades.....and almost overnight a guy who actually understands business, who LIKES this country, and who wants to see it prosper takes over as President and in less than 2 years delivers the best economy / lowest un-employment , worker-friendly economy in decades....

It's like a dry desert where the ground is baked, having not seen rain for years, and suddenly the skies open up and rains like [email protected] ground, not used to it, can't hold all of the water (winning).....

MAYBE what the snowflakes are saying is that Obama was the architect of all this success but refused to allow it to happen all at once...so he held the country down, allowing that cusses to trickle out as part of his 25 year plan....but when Trump was elected he opened up the dam Obama had build and released all of Barry's built-up hoarded 'winning', letting it all out at one time, causing this 'tragedy' we are all enjoying now?!

:p

Actually he has already been doing that. There are far less Americans on Welfare, Food Stamps, and unemployment now....lowest in years.....

When folks lay off Democrat Fake News, they quickly realize the sky isn't falling. They realize they've been lied to. It's like deprogramming cult members. There's a lotta good news happening in our country. Folks just need to stop only getting their info from Democrat Fake News.

Corporate America always cries worker shortage, but many times that is used to bring in cheap business visas who never leave.
The fact is, though, that graduates are be being hired left and right.

Idiot, Obama had to deal with 10% unemployment - OF COURSE at that time we were nowhere close to full employment.

The "shining god" oversaw Great Recession turn into stable growth with unemployment falling to 4.5%. Having inherited that economy Trump record is riding on the coattails of that success.

...and his answer was let's spend trillions of dollars (making sure to enrich his donors in the process), heavily regulate industry to benefit his big corporate donors...hey a six year old could have done that.

Obama The Corporatist...but many Americans don't know this.

If Obama sent home the hundreds of thousands of H1-Bs who were laid off due to the crash, there would not have been an much unemployment amongst American citizens.

That's hilarious considering you clearly love deficit fueled Trump stimulus.

Obama's middle-of-recession Stimulus cost ~500B (with dynamic effect) and Trump's tax-cuts-in-the-middle-of-full-employment will cost ~1 TRILLION.
