Result 8: ubiquitous ugliness

If top executives and major shareholders succeed in reducing most people to an on the edge of starvation third world level in wages and benefits, people will only be able to buy a fraction of the goods and services from businesses than they did when they had a higher income, and the entire economy will drastically decline.

One effect of this is that most of the world will become very ugly, and not pleasant for the wealthy and their heirs to go out into.

Everywhere that the majority of the population lives will look like a seriously ugly slum.

However, if the standard of living of everyone is kept at a reasonably high level, there will be a slow improvement in most towns and neighborhoods until the entire United States is full of interesting tourist center level communities. Such a nation would be wonderful for the wealthy and their heirs to live in.
