Well, if you want to compare, Canada has a higher percentage of immigrants in their population than the US (22% compared to our 14%). And they have just as much border as we do. The UAE has a nearly 90% immigrant population.

It’s like saying a one year old baby is growing older faster than a 50 year old because after 1 year the baby’s age goes up 100% while the 50 year old’s age only went up 2%.
