Wow....you obviously didn't read my posts......the only reason the Soviets survived was because we diverted the Germans with our invasion of Europe and Italy....taking German resources from the Russian front at critical points during the Russian campaign......and we gave them supplies to fight the Germans.....the soviets screwed up totally and without our help would have been speaking German.....

If not for us, the Germans would have defeated the Russians.

The Soviets faces two thirds of the German Divisions. We faced those divisions they could spare from the Eastern Front
We provided them equipment and supplies, mostly Studabaker trucks...it is what allies do

He has had an actual response......the Russians only won because they received equipment and resources from the U.S. And Britain...without those supplies they would have lost....and without the U.S. Invasion of Europe and Italy...Russia would have lost.......Germany had to divert vast numbers of troops and equipment...that they couldn't then use against the Russians to secure France and Italy and vital strategic points........

Guy, John Wayne movies aren't history.... Point was, the Russians took Berlin, not the Americans. They probably could have taken the whole of Germany if we hadn't gotten the agree to partitions before the War ended...

Then they were nice enough to declare war on Japan, saving us from an unnecessary invasion.
