Yes, that's really the excuse this missionary used for raping children.

Unfortunately, many people invovled with religion and religious causes are only there for easy access to children. To combat this phenomenae, my idea's to handle it like religions say. Because he's Christian let's think, what's the penalty for rape?

Another Christian site was more succinct: (paraphrasing) The OT laws are in effect for Christians. The NT doesn't mention the incestuous prohibitions against a brother marrying his sister, or a son marrying his mother yet they're still in effect.

Though the Mosaic Law was for the nation of Israel during the time of Moses, the principle is clear that rape was sinful in the eyes of God and led to the most extreme punishment possibledeath for the rapist."
What does the Bible say about rape?
The New Testament states in no uncertain words that sexual misconduct on many levels is a sin. The Bible says that all Christians must repent of their sins. But the New Testament also states that "he who is without sin" must cast the first stone.
There's no doubt that a molester must be punished for his crimes by the society in which he resides. But only Christ can judge a man's soul and mete out said judgement in the life to come. All humans (no matter what the level of depravity) can repent of their sins and enter into God's Kingdom but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't pay for the crimes they commit while in this life.
I don't know what the molester in the OP believed on a personal level but he committed a crime worthy of severe punishment based on the laws of this land & the tenets of the New Testament ... not the laws of the Mosaic Covenant which were between God and the 12 tribes of Israel.
