I am a Phils fan. Saying that baseball needs to play the sport in purity. They are stuck on this 162-game schedule because of the bottom line in any broadcasting contract and any issue with the players. Two 15 team leagues playing in league only 11 times would be a 154-game schedule. 14 times 11. It is not perfect as one game extra would be at an opponent's home field each year. But it is better than playing the lopsided unbalanced schedule we see with interleague play being hit or miss with good teams and bad teams which may help to gain a playoff spot. Four teams from each league make the playoffs. All series 7 games.

lol....the dodgers.....i am so used to them choking .....at work in the past it was fun watching their fans cry after one of their chokes.....

I thought I saw this was the biggest upset ( it was either between teams with this run differential or number of wins, can't remember) since 1954.
