I knew Austin would go to shit because it was billed as "a great place for young people". Young people screw up everything these days, even entire cities. Especially young liberal and progressive people. They will wreck a city in record time. Same thing happened in Portland, Portland used to be touted as a young people's city. Now it's a city for the homeless, dopeheads and criminals.
