The left has embraced fascism in its purest form

Song of the South was banned in 2001.
Stop dodging and answer the question, surada:

The further right you go, government gets smaller and weaker until it ceases to exist at all.

The Tea Party is to the right of the Republican Party because it believes in true constitutional government. The Libertarian Party is to the right of the Tea Party because it believes and less than true constitutional government. The Sovereign Citizen is to the right of the Libertarian Party because they believe in no government at all for themselves. The anarchist is to the right of the Sovereign Citizen because they believe in no government at all (for anyone).

Explain to the class how fascism could magically be to the right of sovereign citizens and anarchists 😂

Song of the South was banned during a Republican administration.

Additionally, do you read what you write? You don't know anything about modern European history.

Untrue and simplistic because political ideologies aren’t linear and government size is not the sole definition.

Literally has never been a “book ban” by the Republicans. Taking inappropriate books out of public schools isn’t “banning” them. Those same books are readily available to any adult throughout all of Florida.

Next?
Oh…your goal posts are going all wobbly on you now.

They do this constantly. They take a word they have been called, and try to twist it back in the opposite direction -- no matter how badly they have to fabricate and mangle the "logic" to do so. Then they claim "victory".

They exist in their own reality, which is essentially a talk radio ecosystem. Purely binary (note the "fascism in its purest form" in the thread title). And sure as hell, I can't figure out a way to get from here to there.
It is so bizarre.

Characteristics of Fascism (most are applicable to the MAGA right)

1. Powerful, often exclusionary, populist nationalism centered on cult of a redemptive, “infallible” leader who never admits mistakes.
2. Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies.
3. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood.
4. White Replacement “Theory” used to show that democratic ideals of freedom and equality are a threat. Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious.
5. Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation.
6. Identification of “enemies”/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minority group leaders.
7. Supremacy of the military and embrace of paramilitarism in an uneasy, but effective
collaboration with traditional elites. Fascists arm people and justify and glorify violence as “redemptive”.
8. Rampant sexism.
9. Control of mass media and undermining “truth”.
10. Obsession with national security, crime and punishment, and fostering a sense of the nation under attack.
11. Religion and government are intertwined.
12. Corporate power is protected and labor power is suppressed.
13. Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative.
14. Rampant cronyism and corruption.
Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence.
15. Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state.
16. Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict.

Stop dodging and answer the question, Mac1958:
Coyote has done an excellent job. Clear, organized, comprehensive and accurate. Not to mention, patient.

And of course, you've summarily denied and dismissed all of it. As you are conditioned to do. It's all you know. It's the best you can do.

You're not a serious individual, you're not a thoughtful intellect, you're another Dunning-Kruger specimen.

There. I showed you some attention. You're welcome. Now, grunt at someone else.

You have to understand, the only fascists are the opponents of the democrat party

And always remember, sure the Nazis called themselves socialists and embraced socialist policies, but they were all conservatives in sheep's clothing

There, I just fixed getting all the Left wing talking points in one swoop.

You're welcome.
actually, you just defined the republican party and like all republicans, you're too stupid to realize it ...

Bwahahaha!! Look at the propaganda tactics.

Even by your normal standards surada, that is weak 😂

Adolf Hitler unleashed hell in the 1930’s - “during FDR, a Democrat administration”. I guess you agree that the Democrats are to blame for the Holocaust! Right?

Nice propaganda meme. Completely false and inaccurate of course, but good effort!

Much like Steve Jobs, I love simplifying. There are many reasons for that, but one of them is because it leaves you pathological liars nowhere to hide and nowhere to go with your lies.

So let’s simplify this. And as we do, let’s watch you turn and run.

Is the Tea Party to the right of the Republican Party?

Oh…your goal posts are going all wobbly on you now.
By exposing your lies? Yeah…don’t think so, sweetie. Literally no bans whatsoever on books by Republicans.

Taking inappropriate material out of a public school isn’t “banning” it. Not even remotely in that stratosphere. All of those inappropriate books are still very much available to all citizens of Florida.

Perfect definition of Barack Obama (D) and Joe Biden (D)
2. Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies.
You mean like questioning if someone with a penis is actually a man - and insisting it is a “real woman” as the Democrats adamantly declare thousands of times per day? Or like question the reality of an election result, as Hillary Clinton and the Democrats did over and over and over?

Yep, you’ve once again flawlessly defined the Democrat Party!
3. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood.
Victim hood is what liberalism is built on!! 😂

Holy shit, you’ve made a better case for fascism being left-wing than I did 😂
4. Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious.
Boom! There again. Critical Race Theory teaches that if something was created by a white man (roads, stop signs, banking systems, legal systems, etc.) it is “inherently racist” (🙄) because apparently black people are incapable of banking like white people (🙄)

You’ve once again flawlessly proven that fascism is exclusively left-wing!
5. Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation.
Again, the left. Work tirelessly to silence anyone who doesn’t agree with them so they can have a single party, single ideology, society.
6. Identification of “enemies”/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minority group leaders.
Literally all the left does. Extreme violence by ANTIFA and BLM. Weaponization of government by the Democrat Party to attack and eliminate political opposition. FDR literally placed Japanese Americans in internment camps.

When you put words in someone else's mouth it makes you weak and stupid.

Hitler purged the German government of Socialists, Communists, Jews and Democrats in 1933. He put them in concentration camps.

German Nationalism was very racist and authoritarian.

You are one of the most ignorant women on this board.

Bull crap!

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.[2][3]

Benito Mussolini (left) and Adolf Hitler (right), the leaders of Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, respectively
Fascism rose to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.[4][5] The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I before spreading to other European countries, most notably Germany.[4] Fascism also had adherents outside of Europe.[6] Opposed to anarchism, democracy, pluralism, liberalism, socialism, and Marxism,[7][8] fascism is placed on the far-right wing within the traditional left–right spectrum.[4][8][9]

Nice fakery. Too bad political ideologies are not that simplistic.

I have noticed a trend among the rightists to redefine long established ideologies and thus rewrite history in such a way as to make themselves look a bit better and white wash their extremes.

If you are going to insist on a single axis, this is far more accurate.

1711642204881.jpeg
But the fact is…a single axis simplistic because political ideologies aren’t defined soley by more or less government. The problem is that you ignore 90% of what defines ideologies focusing only on a very libertarian view on the role of government.

Characteristics of leftwing and rightwing ideologies (not the extremes):

Left-Wing Political Ideology:

Left-wing political ideology, often associated with liberalism, progressivism, or socialism, places a strong emphasis on social equality, government intervention in the economy, and the promotion of individual and collective rights.

Right-Wing Political Ideology:

Right-wing political ideology, often associated with conservatism, emphasizes limited government intervention, traditional values, and a free-market economy.

When you get to the extremes however, they no longer resemble the moderates and resemble each other more.

You do realize, don’t you, that YouTube is a private entity, not part of the government?
You do realize, don’t you, that liberals push “private entities” to silence anyone who doesn’t bow to the left’s bat-shit crazy ideology? That includes those idiot liberals inside of those private entities.

It says everything that you guys are so afraid of freedom of speech, the open exchange of information and ideas, etc.
