Reputable scholars need to read the Bible. He was put into a tomb. The stone was rolled into place and then sealed. The Jews asked for a guard. A guard consisted of 16 men. Should one get caught resting or leaning, the whole guard is killed. When the guards went to the Temple to tell them the tomb was empty, the priest tried to bribe the soldiers to keep them quiet, the guards refused.
