I was watching between the FOX and CBS NFL shows and now even the panels are going on about bets paying off at this and that....Never mind half the fuckin' commercials.

They need to get betting out of the NFL.....They are turning fans into gambling junkies.

This is why I am on NFL RedZone ch or mostly mute. I seldom watch any live game 100% (maybe playoffs) as the commercials and Woke BS kill me.

Please Don’t give the fake news channels any clicks. I haven’t since NV04 2020 but for other shows or live sports almost always on mute or remote away when commercial. Even Netflix has a lot of woke now, thx Obiden.

The players make a lot more money. The allegiance on their part is reduced though.

I noticed the very first commercial was for FanDuel, as was the last commercial before kickoff.

NFL is driven by greed, how to maximize profits, and there is no better way than partnering with sportsbooks.

Tv is always on sports or car shows. We just had to switch from Direct TV because of something with sports. I offered no assistance because I already can stream what I watch and just let the husband figure it out. He decided on FUBO which I signed up for the package he picked. Then it didn't have the MAV or whatever channel he thought it had, I knew it was an add on but it's listed with the outdoor package...he eventually found it or my son who was visiting did.

The problems of sports betting is already here ... point shaving ... dumping games ... Giants below .500 ... then there's the "in game" wagers ... The Steph sinks 19 3-pointers by halftime, everyone will bet him to sink 20 by the end of the game ... monied interests will have him benched for the second half ...

Must be a dozen movies about how this happens in boxing ... even one from the files of Police Squad ... so you know it's notorious ...

Yes, I gamble ... it's a negative expectation ... before I walk into the casino, I ask myself if I'll be happy and smiling and glad I came IF I walk out penniless ... it's a bit more fun than flushing the money down the toilet, even though the results are the same ...

My winning strategy is bet the minimum on the Pass Line and drink as much free booze as possible ... it'll still cost you money but it's a drunk on the cheap ... if yer any good at drinkin' ...

I've not paid much attention to the NLF in the off-season and was just wanting to catch-up a bit.....I don't even know where Belichick went yet.
