I don't know what article you're talking about or that you quoted from in your previous post. It wasn't the article I read in the OP.The New York Times story said that the same person may have forged Trump's nomination last year as well.I don't believe that the Nobel Organization lied about there being a forgery. I agree that Lakhota's article makes it sound as if the ONLY nomination Trump received was a forgery, and that is not the case. I find this an interesting piece of news. The Nobel Committee takes itself very seriously if they have the FBI investigating who might have forged a nominating document. As someone pointed out, a nomination is in itself not important. Then it has to be considered. Why didn't the Committee just chuck it in the trash and ignore it. Are they going to ARREST the forger?
I have a lot of respect for the Nobel Committee. The man who started it, Alfred Nobel, was a "Swedish chemist, engineer, and industrialist who invented dynamite and other more powerful explosives" who had the decency to have a case of guilts and start an organization to commend those who work on peace rather than destruction. It is only one of many voices; if you don't like peace, just ignore it. They have admitted they made a mistake granting the award to Obama before he had actually done anything about planet wide nuclear disarmament, but I can see them getting carried away when an important world leader had an actual mission and a plan to promote peace through disarmament.
We may never win, but we can't give up.
