Thanks for asking.....
The history of the United States is of a country fighting a Civil War to defend the institution of slavery. We endured 100 years of officially treating blacks as second rate citizens. Barack Hussein Obama was a man born of a white mother and black father at a time his father could have been lynched for marrying a white woman. For that child to rise to the presidency of the United States is Nobel Prize worthy
No brainer
A black president deserved the Nobel by virtue of being black . Perfect.
Of 44 men who have ascended to the position of President of the United States, only one has been black. Noteworthy in itself. But to do so in a country with a known history of violent racism was historic
One of the most noteworthy Nobels ever awarded
Normally, you get the Peace Prize for encouraging, well you know... peace. So far, he's used his drones in Yemen, Iraq, and Pakistan, killed four American citizens with them without giving them their due process rights, launched a naval offensive in Libya, has created one of the more hyperpartisan political atmospheres in America since the 1960's, and has used the color of his skin to shame his opponents.
So what exactly justifies his reception of such an award?
