Like it or not, the old geezers in Washington, have destroyed the GOP, you can blame Trump all you want, but he's just saying what many Americans want to hear, and that is:

We are tired!
Tired of the same crap coming off the hill all the time.
Tired of nothing getting done in Washington
Tired of the gridlock
Tired of watching our taxes go up and our home values go down.
Tired of hearing politically correct crap
Tired of being labeled a racist for talking about a black person
Tired of politicians making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
Tired of lobbyists
Tired of being told how to raise our kids
Tired of others trying to impose their views on our values
Tired of the vocal minority
Tired of "push 1 for English"
Tired of our tax dollars making some people rich
Tired of our deteriorating infrastructure
Tired of feeding the world, while our children go hungry
Tired of wasting money on stupid studies.
Tired of spending money we don't have
Tired of the media spinning things to fit their views
Tired of having only 2 choices
Tired of reading this list yet?

Yeah, there's a lot more. But, if the GOP doesn't want to admit that much of their base is fed up with them, then let them go the way of the dodo bird, and if Trump's name is not on the ballot come November on the GOP ballot, he will be the first independent candidate to win the presidency in my lifetime. And if you think he won't, then time will tell, but there is a lot of tired people, who haven't voted in years, and if you keep poking the sleeping bear, you gonna wake it up.

Thank God the far wingers like to poke, cause the bear is stirring.

Why do all these tired people keep voting their incumbents back in to Congress? Those are the people who have more power than a President does.
I have voted anti incumbent for the last 12 years, but it's just taking one life time politician and replacing them with another. Until a viable 3rd party shows up, then i'll vote for whomever rolls opposite of the crap Washington is producing.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

people got a damn good look at the Republican career politician club with this election. that's why WE NEED TERM LIMITS ON THESE PEOPLE. We can't rely on the people to vote them out. Dem base of voters never votes OUT someone they put in running our lives. Just look at the old fogies running the Democrat party and running for President

Well, apparently there are not as many "tired" people as is claimed.

People are missing THE POINT.

Trump's ascendancy came on ONE ISSUE: Immigration! Working-class White People are tired of being lied to about immigration. We expect democrats to lie, but "we" are pissed off about Republicans telling us that there's nothing that can be done about AT LEAST 11 million (some estimates put it as high as 30 million) illegals camping out in our country, going to our schools for free, collecting welfare, housing subsidies, MEDICAID, and so on. We are tired of a Government that REFUSES to release information on how much of our violent crime (murder, rape, armed robbery) is committed by illegals, when they have the information at their fingertips.

Trump may not have the solutions, but at least he recognizes the problem, acknowledges the lies, and intends to do everything possible within the constraints of the Constitution to re-establish our national sovereignty (i.e., the right to decide who can live here).

All other issues are just window-dressing.

Most Republicans are completely fed up wth the corrupt feckless GOP leadership. The OP is Spot On. It's the old guard hacks like the Boehners, McCains, McConnels, Ryans, who've damaged the Party.

True statment, contrary to what the left would love to believe, the party is remaking itself, not distruction ,give up on a workable 3rd party, fix the broken parts,it will be painful somewhat, its good for our republic. Nothing stays the same ever.

It is an out-of-control President who is preventing the Congress from doing what they were elected to do (e.g., get rid of the abomination commonly called, "Obamacare"). The fact that the MSM has convinced the public that it is the Republicans who are responsible for the gridlock is both outrageous and discouraging - that "we" are so stupid.
