The ONLY way to fund the government is to

Its terrible legislation. But until the dems and obozo admit that it is a terrible bill, then the only option is for the GOP to refuse to pay for it with OUR money.

How can the GOP "make it better" when the dems control the senate and the whitehouse and refuse to discuss any changes?

It may be a "done deal" but it is a terrible deal for america and its entirely on the dems. This will hurt the dem party for a long long time.

It is terrible. There were much better options that we were not able to consider. What is clearly evident is we need to get employers out of the healthcare business. Employers do not want it and employees should not have employers make healthcare decisions for them

As a minimum, we need a government option. Let the government serve the role that employers now do and negotiate the best rate with insurance companies. A better option is to have the Government act as your insurance company

the absolute worst of all possible options.

Do you know why other options were not considered? Because the dems wrote the bill in a sealed room with no input or discussion with republicans or the citizens of the country. Because a few dem staffers put a bill together that is the worst piece of legislation in history. because it was passed on a dems only vote in the middle of the night.

it is terrible legislation and was passed in the worst possible way-------thank you pelosi, reid, and obama.

Bullshit.

There were an equal number of Republicans on the Health Care panel. They went with the Heritage Foundation/Bob Dole/Mitt Romney plan. Republicans had plenty of input into the plan. THEN..they walked away from it.

Republicans are not serious about this..at all.

That's a fact. And I PROVED it in here at least twice with Video evidence.

But your typical LIV (Low Information Voter) and the average lying dim will refute that.

One will be along shortly to prove me correct.

What is the Republican plan to contain health care costs and improve levels of coverage so that all or at least most Americans have health care coverage?

What is the Republican plan?

first of all there was no healthcare crisis in the USA. No one was denied healthcare. If the govt wanted to insure then 10 million or so who had no insurance but wanted it, they could have bought them a policy for much much less than what this monstrosity will cost us.

there are two good things in obozocare, no lifetime maximum payments, and no refusal to insure because of preexisting conditions, keep those and scrap the rest.

You seem to forget the fact that insurance premiums were increasing by ten to fifteen percent every single year from 2000 through 2009. It wasn't until the ACA passed that those increases fell to approximately four percent. The system was completely broken and on top of it, insurance companies were dumping anyone they could that was even the slightest risk. And how do I know this? I was one of those people the insurance companies dumped because they felt I had become too big of a risk, even though I had health insurance for years.

premiums were going up because medical costs were going up. ACA did not attack the problem, it only made it worse.

why should big pharma make 35% profits on drugs and hold patents for 12 years on new drugs? why should hospitals charge $25 for one aspirin? why should a 10 minute visit to your GP cost your $150? Will ACA change any of that? NO.

and if we go to socialized medicine with the govt as our insurance company, what will that cost us? how much fraud will be in it? how many new govt employees will we have to pay for? how many paper pushers will docs and hospitals have to hire to process all of the claims?

not true, shallow. there were no republicans on the panel that wrote the bill that was passed. NOT ONE.

BWAH!!

And YOU are who I proved it to. :lmao:

lying bitch. EVERYBODY knows that dimocraps locked Republicans out of writing the bill.

Once it hit the Floor of the House, there was no time to read it because NAZI Pelousy crammed it down our throats.

On the House Floor, Patriotic Americans offered amendments and a few got in but don't you remember NAZI Pelousy screaming about how, "We have to pass it so we can know what's in it"....?

You don't remember that?

Do you remember that EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN IN CONGRESS VOTED AGAINST THE BILL?

You are such a lying dick.

The ACA is the LAW.

Defunding it would be unconstitutional and breaking the law.

Should the treasonous tea party congressional members be deported? I mean for breaking the law.

is obama breaking the law when he delays the implementation of part of it? Is he unconstitutional in waiving it for himself and congress? Should obama be tried for treason for violating a law that he signed?

waiting for your answer, shallow.

Nobody cares.

ACA is not going to be defunded.

So if it is not defunded, single payer becomes a reality.

If it becomes a reality this will be a single payer nation.

Single payer means ONE payer i.e. government.

This means the 1,300 current Payers i.e. health insurance companies are out of business.
That means NO $100 billion a year in Federal/state/local taxes.
That means 400,000 people out of work.
That means insurance companies' reserves i.e. stocks bonds, etc. are sold.
That means the market for these assets (nearly $1 trillion) owned by these companies. Poof!

Therefore Lower TAX REVENUES to be made up by how???

He got caught lying so now he'll try to deflect the subject.

It's all the little bitch does in here.... Lie, lie, lie and then lie some more.

Well......

Cost-shifting was starting to crush Private Health Insurance. So yeah, there was a crisis.

But if the government had just done what you proposed, it would have been cut down quite a bit.

One of the major problems with Private Health Care is Lawyers.

Know the differences between a Catfish and a Lawyer?

One is a bottom feeding, slimy, scum-sucking slimewad and the other one is a fish.

In some cases down here, Gynecologists are paying $200,000 a year for malpractice.

In places like Minnesota, it's one-tenth of that. Why? Because some States have strict Tort-Reform and some don't.

It depends on who runs the State.... The People or scum-sucking Lawyers.

Charlie Crist? They guy who got defeated by Marco Rubio in that incredible Senate election we had here in Florida? It took us a little while to figure out he (Crist) was a RINO dirtbag and he confirmed when he lost and went to work for the biggest Ambulance Chasing Firm in the State. Maybe in the Country.

They've driven rates up out of this world in this State. Every five minutes they've got an Ad on TV. And you can't listen to the Radio anymore because he's got an Ad between every song.

All Insurance Companies do is take in "X" amount of premium and pay out "Y" amount of claims. Not complicated.

But when they're spending BILLIONS defending frivolous lawsuits; when Juries are handing out stupid Jury Decisions, when......

It costs a Billion Dollars to bring a new drug to Market and another Billion Dollars to defend against lawsuits. Fact.

What's the ACA gonna do about that? If these drugs are tested and approved by the US FDA (they are) how come it isn't the Feds who are getting sued? Answer.... Good luck suing the Federal Government.

IOW, there's no "Tort Reform" in the ACA.

And THAT is one thing that makes it a joke more than anything else.

dimocraps are stupid

THANK YOU! YOU are one of the FEW that comprehend this gigantic waste!
$850 BILLION a year physicians clearly state is paid BY the insurance companies/Medicare for wasteful duplicate testings, etc. all out of FEAR of lawsuits!

1,231 physicians...(90%) Ninety percent of physicians surveyed said:
In a recent Gallup survey, physicians attributed 34 percent of overall healthcare costs to defensive medicine and 21 percent of their practice to be defensive in nature. Specifically, they estimated that 35 percent of diagnostic tests, 29 percent of lab tests, 19 percent of hospitalizations, 14 percent of prescriptions, and 8 percent of surgeries were performed to avoid lawsuits.

Liability reform has been estimated to result in anywhere from a 5 percent to a 34 percent reduction in medical expenditures by reducing defensive medicine practices, with estimates of savings from $54 billion to $650 billion.
The costs of defensive medicine

valid points about lawyers, malpractice, and tort reform. Lots of "protective testing" is done to try to prevent malpractice suits.

A OB/GYN friend of mine retired at 55 because of what his malpractice insurance was costing him---and he never had one case filed against him.

Obama?

The decision by the Office of Personnel Management, with Obama's blessing, will prevent the largely unintended loss of healthcare benefits for 535 members of the Senate and House of Representatives and thousands of Capitol Hill staff.

When Congress passed the health reform law known as Obamacare in 2010, an amendment required that lawmakers and their staff members purchase health insurance through the online exchanges that the law created. They would lose generous coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.

By the way..the benefit that Congress gets..SHOULD BE THE BENEFIT WE ALL GET.

THAT..was the initial plan you folks killed.

Lawyers ARE the dimocrap party.

the Stuttering Clusterfuck is a lawyer, his sasquatch of a wife is a lawyer.

Bill the rapist Clinton is a lawyer his wife, Thunder Thighs, is a lawyer.

John Kerry is a lawyer.

Algore is a lawyer.

And THE biggest contributor to democrats is the AAJ (American Assn for Justice) sounds almost like something out of an African Congo dictatorship.... The Justice Party or some stupid shit like that.

They used to be called the ATLA (American Trial Lawyers Assn)

Obama made the decision to delay the employer mandate, He violated the provisions of the law that he signed, or if you choose to say that he did not make the decision, then he allowed the provisions of the law to be violated---same thing really.

the country cannot afford to give every citizen the healthcare plan the we pay for for congress.

BTW, David Vitter R La has authored a bill to make congress subject to the provisions of obamacare. Do you think that will ever get a vote in either house?

Don't PLEASE don't bring in the Malpractice insurance costs... less then 3% and that is the straw man argument ACA defenders use!

IT IS THE $850 Billion your OB/GYN filed in claims because of FEAR of lawsuits!
Remember Medicare/Insurance companies PAY THESE claims out of premiums and taxes we pay!
WHY did 90% of doctors attest they do defensive medicine? Fear of lawsuits and by the way less then 6% go to trial!
Settled out of court STILL adds to the $850 billion figure!

So WHY were tanning salons taxed 10% in ACA but lawyers ??? because lawyers donated 90% of the $300 million in 2008 to Obama and Democrats!
So what about taxing lawyers 10% of their $270 billion?
Use that to pay a premium of $5,000 a year for the TRULY 4 million that WANT and need health insurance?
Then audit hospitals so they don't send sometimes with 6,000% markup over costs, claims to Medicare to recoup uninsured!
Watch then how quickly the $850 billion figure drops and the rarity of the 300 to 6,000% markups by hospitals!

the point is the same, just a different way to get there. if is was not for a lot of fraudulent malpractice claims, there would not be protective testing and there would not be high malpractice insurance costs. all costs that we pay for either in insurance premiums, taxes, or medical fees.

Obamacare is a done deal.

If you don't like it, try to make it better

Why waste time moulding an old turd..plant a new tree.

That makes alot of sense

Why don't Republicans tell us what the new tree will look like before we chop down the old one?

the old one has to be killed before its roots take over the entire landscape. Kill it first, then put in some new healthy trees.

If we let obamacare go to full implementation, there will be no stopping it. It will continue its destruction of our economy which has already begun.
