Zone1 The Problem Is Guns, And Easy Access To Guns

So is bleeding in the medical culture in the 18th Century.
The two have nothing in common. Until just recently, we had no problem with school shootings and guns were more easily obtained. Obviously, something changed and it wasn't the guns.

There is another poster who wants to empower such clerks to deny service to customers based on how crazy they look but can't explain how that's going to prevent a racist minimum wage gun store clerk from denying Jerome service because he just doesn't like the way Jerome looks.

I know exactly which luser you are describing, here. One who is very fond of falsely accusing others of racism, but who, very often in the same posts cannot help showing himself to be, in fact, a far worst racist than what he is trying to falsely accuse someone else of being.

You're [sic] 8th grade education reveals itself yet again. :auiqs.jpg:

Someone who actually had at least an eighth-grade level of education would be literate enough to know the difference between “you're” and “your”.

How's that Dunning-Kruger working out for you, candycorn?

50 years ago in that same "deadly gun culture" you could purchase a gun from a catalog and have it shipped to your house through the mail. No one used them to shoot random school children. Today, you have to go through a background check, wait for a while, in some places you have to present an acceptable reason, all before you can obtain a firearm. People are using them to shoot random school children.

I'll pose it to you, advising that I've posed this question multiple times and never received a solid answer, just more anti-gun rhetoric:

What changed between the time you could easily obtain a gun with no questions asked but live in safety, and the time it was becoming increasingly difficult to obtain a gun and your safety was threatened? Hint, it wasn't the guns.
Yeah it's the guns, ask an Australian how many people get killed with a gun in one of the most gun regulated countries on Earth.

Anti gun fascists do not want to discuss that issue.
You're ignorant. Your only issue when issues on gun control is, "shall not be infringed". The reader might also consider the 100 Million dollar + profits in the sale of guns and ammo.

Automatic and Semi-automatic firearms with large numbers of rounds in the magazine were not common 50 years ago.

As if there needs to be some other position.

Ok...
Q: Why are they popular now?
A: Liberals keep mindlessly trying to ban them.

And yet most shootings are done with handguns that have been around for decades. You can't on the one hand include handguns to inflate numbers, then ignore them to point at rifles.

Thanks for your opinion. Enforce the damn regulations we have on the books.
"damn regulations"? Your comment suggests all Arms are to be sold to everyone, no matter their criminal record, a danger to themselves and others and Arms includes fragmentation grenades, M16's, SAMS or other Heavy Weapons?

Said no one, honestly, ever.

The Germans invented the assault rifle during World War II.

The M-16 became standard issue in our own Army in 1964.

The iconic Thompson submachine gun was developed during World War I, but not in time to be put into service before that war ended. That's the gun popularly shown in images of it being used by 1920s gangsters, with the big 100-round drum magazine. This gun goes back more than a hundred years.
