For many reasons (some of which may not be discussed), the morale of the armed forces has been declining for a long time.

I have to be very careful, but in the Vietnam War, I understand, there was even physical conflict among American soldiers for certain reasons.

Even the liberal media have to admit that there is a lot of trouble on some bases, including sexual assault & even murder.

If the Dems purge all alleged "White supremacists" and Trump supporters, that is no guarantee that the American military will ever again have the esprit de corps that existed in World War II.
