The realities of Labor Unions

China, the worlds largest economy has required labor unions for all businesses in China, yet they are doing better than the capitalist nations.....No wonder they hate labor unions...They want to advocate lower pay for US citizens and increased earnings for the owners...

Where you work now bear? Walmart? And what union were you a member of? Just curious.

would be a german style one, there is a big differance

Don't forget to mention how the government of Germany SUPPORTS unions. And how the companies support unions and actually desire the benefits that a unionized work force gives them.

Of course a CEO of a German company doesn't feel compelled to make 300 times the wages of a typical union worker.

So yea, I can see why you would want to work for a German company with German unions and German labor laws. They take care of their workers. They value their workers. They want to be fair to their workers.

Now that's a foreign concept here in the USA.
...or maybe they don't have the greedy union thugs running the unions like we do, making the union more important than their host. The fact that you don't think fairness exists here without unions shows what a uninformed dipstick you are.

Unions have already declined for decades, and this is what you've gotten:

Marriage has gone down too. Maybe that's the problem? Correlation isn't causation, try again.

Well then, offer alternative causations that are more plausible.

The fact that you don't recognize that working men and women's wages have been flat for years (while corporate profits and executive earning have skyrocketed) and that the number of unionized jobs has declined shows just how little you care for the working men and women of this nation. All the while the MW stays flat. And you think these workers have been treated "fairly". Bull shit.

Why do you personally hate American workers? Or if not hate, not want to see them prosper?

I did. Unmarried households don't make as much. You can't eliminate that from the equation. Or the fact that American businesses have to compete globally now. Or the fact that government has created more burden.

So that's what you want to call a union leader who stands up for the rights of union members; Thugs.
You are just pissed that the union leadership is pissed at the situation working men and women find themselves in. Union leaders are not in awe of the rich CEO's and such like you are. Union members aren't afraid to fight back. And you hate that.

That's because you just don't feel yourself the equal to a rich person and if the rich person tells you unions bad, super rich people good, you just can't help but believe it. After all, they have more money than you.

These are the facts about labor unions.

Labor Unions are unconstitutional.
It violates the Business owner's right to be safe and secure in his papers and effects regarding his business.

I think you mean government forcing membership in labor unions and forcing businesses to collectively negotiate with them. That would be a violation of the 10th amendment. However, there's clearly nothing unconstitutional about workers voluntarily uniting.

The only motive for busting unions is to get cheaper labor, therefore, if you believe the average unionized worker in this country is overpaid,

then of course you want to destroy the unions. I for one don't see American workers making too much as the big problem in this country.

I just don't want to believe such ignorance exists in this country. Every time I think they've hit a new low, they manage to find one even lower.
Nice to be an optimist. However the right wingers on here want this country to become involved in a race to the bottom. Instead of the ultra wealthy having 40% of the nations wealth, they want the ultra wealthy to have 80% of the countries wealth. Then I guess the ultra wealthy get it all eventually.

Yes, tyke, socialism has been so economically successful, clearly by not wanting that we want a crappy economy. You may want to come out of the hole in your ground and look at the reality of what you are doing to us because it sure doesn't match the marketing literature.

Being trained to hate unions is one of the earliest steps in the brainwashing of a RWnut.
Hating the truth is the first, middle and final step to creating the political retards we call "liberal".

All you want if you want to bust unionism is to see American labor working for less than its already working for.

Why would you want that? Are you envious of the guy who might actually make enough money to raise a family without having to be a two-earner household? Does that gall you somehow?

Yea but these right wingers think we would be so much better off if everyone got paid the same wages that they pay in China. Or Vietnam. Or Malaysia.

I mean after all. American workers have it so good. The government is willing to supply food stamps when your wages approach those of Chinese workers. Bet the Chinese worker don't get no damn food stamps from their government.

Proving once again how good American workers have it.

That's just stupid, you have no idea what you are talking about. Want another cup of kool-aid?
