The republicans are trying to.....

just like you "zombies" supported Bush for 8 long painful years no matter how much he fucked over this country??

Poll numbers reflected many republican conservatives who took issue with Bush...

when you are a Life_Long_Dem!.....apparently,no matter what, that kinda sums it up....same thing by the way if you were a Life Long Repub......this guy/girl and Sealy are bogged down with the Dem Bullshit......the reason why we are where we are at.....those who cant tell the 2 parties to GO TO HELL.....

PS. When Obama does fix the mess Bush created, don't be a fucking retard and say it was Bush/Tom Delay's policies from 2000-2006 that did it.

You have a lot of confidence in a plan that has no evidence to support it. Don't count your chickens, sealy.

just like you "zombies" supported Bush for 8 long painful years no matter how much he fucked over this country??

Wrong, fuck Bush.......

But again, no matter how bad Obama fucks up, you clowns will happily support and enable him......:eusa_whistle:

I was watching CNN yesterday and they had the comment ticker going when talking about the stimulus package and someone commented that the republicans are doing all they can to cause the stimulus plan to fail so they can regain control of Congress and i totally agree. It is all about agendas in politics on either side of the aisle. The dems have control and republicans dont like it so they are trying to sabotage the prez to win back seats. Why else would they be holding up Obama's labor sec. nominee?? She is pro union and is for the employee free choice act which most republicans dont like so why cant this be about whats best for America and not whats best for my ideological beliefs??

Uh you honestly think a "stimulus package" that doesnt do a thing to stimulate the economy but is in reality just a pork bill to all the Democrat special interests is good for the country? Do you think a bill that gives the government power to deny the elderly medical service because their life isnt worth the cost is good for this nation? Do you honestly think that stripping the workers of their right for a private ballot is a good thing for this country?

Let's borrow from China to fund special interests groups and lie to the people about it being an economic stimulus. Thats really whats best for the country!

And yet the majority of you still voted for him instead of someone else such as a 3rd party candidate. Funny how that goes eh?

don't project... dems eat their own. being in lockstep is a rightie thing.

on the other hand, he's better than anything the repubs offered.

because of course, mccain was so onto it and palin would have been so effective....

you betcha. *wink*

Um, the last 8 years werent that bad. And if you think they were, you're going to hate the next 10 years.

And contrary to your opinion, everyone had problems with Bush on some aspects. We just didnt blindly hate him for no reason. We opposed his over spending. And contrary to your opinion, President Obama's decision to spend 500 times as much money isnt making things better.

We opposed increasing power to government.

We opposed amnesty for illegals.

We opposed bad Supreme Court justice picks in favor of good ones.

We've been living in paradise compared to what's coming. And its not just because Obama's policies are suicidal. Its unlikely McCain would have been much better. There are just too many people who are deluded and living in a fantasy world and when the system falls apart, and it will at some point, all systems do, they are going to not be able to handle it.

Then the bloodshed starts. Its happened again and again in the history of the world. and when our system collapses its going to be very bad.

We have a two party system. A third party vote is a waste.

Better to have an mediocre person in charge to a dangerous one.

Kindly prove some evidence of "lockstep".

And Palin is effective. She was effective in her state, and you know, she's shirking the conservatives as we speak because she's busy working.

I know how the nazi libs hate a strong woman....

Conservatives just recognize that the $pendulou$ Bill is not stimulative, it is ecomic regression and will make the economy WORSE; what's more we recognise that it amounts to little more than graft and influence peddling on an unspeakable scale...

And we contest socialism... BECAUSE OF IT DELETORIOUS ECONOMIC EFFECTS and it's certainty to foment Cultural CALAMITY!

What this will result in is massive stagflation and economic malaise... PERIOD and with no potential exception. If $PENDULOU$ an alternative, it's a disasterous alternative to REASON.

Well, there's your first problem Vern. You will never get ALL of the story watching the Communist News Network.

Ummm. Doesn't that brilliant retort still make you a zombie? Come on you guys. You're gonna have to stop leaning on the 'the last 8 years' crutch and stand on your own sometime.

Except for Bush and the bankers that pull his strings.

Do you claim that the bankers don't pull his strings or that they also pull the Democrats strings?

PS. When Obama does fix the mess Bush created, don't be a fucking retard and say it was Bush/Tom Delay's policies from 2000-2006 that did it.

You can't keep saying this is why this happened without some evidence. I'm honeslty more than willing to hear you out considering Bush's track record. But what is know for a fact is that Bush tried to do things like put tougher regulations on Freddie and Fannie. Now what SPECIFIC evidence do you have that this was bankers and Bush screwing people over?

Because Bush tried to sneak this by us:

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

Dirty Secret Of The Bailout: Thirty-Two Words That None Dare Utter

And you forget that before Bush asked for $700 billion, the Federal Reserve, ON THEIR OWN, bailed out AIG with $85 billion. You forgot about that money, didn't you?

Then Bush gave $350 billion to other banks. What happened to that money?

So I understand your fear. Because Bush ripped us off, you think Obama will too.

When Hank Paulson scared Congress into passing the Troubled Asset Relief Plan (TARP) last fall, he said that it would be used to buy toxic waste from banks. That never happened. All we know is that $350 billion of our taxpayer money is gone and that most of it went to banks and a bit to the auto industry. What are they doing with our money? How is the government measuring the success of TARP? Is it helping? Until we get those answers, we should not allow more good money to be thrown after bad.

Before releasing the next $350 billion, what happened to the first? - BloggingStocks

They didn't do what they said they would do with the money Bern. Now if Obama makes the same mistake, I'll start to wonder about him too. You, however, never wondered about Bush but immediately doubt Prez O?

Quick lesson in basic civics bobo. The LEGISLATIVE branch of government authors and passes bills. The PRESIDENT signs them. And the congress that pass that legislation, both houses of which were controled by..........? Go ahead, you can do it........ everyone knows already.

Don't listen to much talk radio do ya. Rush, Hannity, Savage, etc. lately they've been dishing it out as much to the RINOs as they have the left. And here in uber liberal Minnesota what qualifies as Republican would be a bluedog anywhere else.

Well said Bern...

I'd only add that the point to which the idiot is referring was NOT SNUCK BY 'US'... Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, Ingraham, Beck and Levin ALL screamed about the fact that the Money had no oversight... it was just ONE of their points contesting Tarp 1... Each one pointed out that that Bill effectively established the Sec'-Tres as the US Economic Czar... and this was a point being made LONG BEFORE THE ELECTION...

It's good to see that the left is finally catching up... not that this will in ANY WAY change their minds, as you've pointed out, they're ignorant of Legislative process; thus are incapable of realizing that the DEMOCRAT CONGRESS WROTE THE BILL AND IN PARTICULAR THAT THE SAME DEMOCRATS PREVENTED THE REPUBLICANS IN THE LEGISLATURE FROM HAVING ANY INPUT.

Now what this little exercise provides is a look at how the next four years will play out. Every single leftist policy failure will be blamed on (you know who...) and the GOP in Congress... They'll run to claim that "...Bush policy had made things 'worse than they realized;' and the GOP prevented them from spending enough..."

And that my friend, you can take to the bank... The ideological left survives despite its chronic failure by misdirecting blame for it's failures. One great place to witness a micro-example of this is Ag-what'shername... the Anarcho-communist. She's the one who has determined that the Soviets weren't Communists, because the 'ruling class' was corrupt... don't you SEE? True Communists are not currupt... nor are they corruptible. So what ya had THERE was 'State Capitalism' and EVERYONE KNOWS that CAPITALISM is just WRrrooong!
