Why Do Republicans Pretend to Speak for Americans When Most Americans Don't Vote for Them?

Yes, the Republicans have RINOs - Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and a few more...

I have never voted for any one of them. They serve NOTHING to me, or what the Republican Party stands for.

You realize Congress is elected by the states?
Senators are elected by the people within the state, not the state.
Congress persons are elected by their district, not the state.

The President is elected by the states?
Thats literally wrong. They are elected by the electors who are in turn elected by the voters and must vote as the voters wish.

Why should States elect our President?
There is no reason to. Its a relic of when states were semi autonomous powers, and frankly we needed electors because we had invented things, like the telegraph yet and the US, even then, was huge.

Wasn't an issue as much in the past, because state populations tended to mirror their size due to agriculture being the primary business and keeping people on Da Farm. Now, hardly.

or we need to limit the federal government as the founders intended and reduce it's importance in areas where it has no actual constitutional mandate.

It should happen, because there is no reason a country as large as ours can't use federalism to it's advantage.
No example of it being used TO advantage. The markets and economy is now national. We have no9t been minicountries since the South demonstrated how bad an idea that can be.

Yes, senators are elected by the people within the state, not by national vote.

Congress persons are elected by their district, not the national vote.

Presidents are elected by the electors of each state, not by the national vote.

And in all of those, the total population voting for Democratic candidates is higher than Republican ones.

The Constitution handles that. What isn't needed are national laws that can handle State and local level issues.

The Department of Education should just set minimum Standards, not act as a funding pass through. as an example.

HUD should be dismantled, the States can handle it.

Its the point of the OP. The Republicans do not represent the majority of views of voters in the US.

So what?
Do the majority of the voters agree that kids should be mutilated?
Do the majority of the voters agree that millions of illegals should be allowed into the US?
Do the majority of the voters agree that we should spend trillions on "green energy"?
