The right wing Christian are not Christians at all. I call them Old Testament Christians. You won't ever hear them refer to the New Testament, but always to the Old Testament.

They loves them some Old Testament because it is harsh and starkly authoritarian.

Yes, these folks are right. God kills all kinds of people in the Old Testament. There is the Great Flood. There is the immediate aftermath of Moses discovering that some of his people had created a golden calf to worship. Moses and Aaron killed thousands that night and God approved. Eventually leading the tribes to the Promised Land which was owned and occupied by the Canaanites. The Israelite's killed all that brooked them.

But God kills no one in the New Testament, but allows his son to be killed. Other than that there's not much blood. So, the Old Testament Christians pretty much ignore it.

These bastards use this line of reasoning to attack Gays, Trans and anyone and anything that doesn't kiss their fucking ass. These people are the American taliban. They're a very big threat to freedom and liberty in the United states.

If they followed Jesus's message of love and forgiveness they wouldn't attack people for being different.

I highly recommend you read the New Testament

You openly deny God. What makes you think that, from that position, you have any place judging who is a Christian and who is not?

Atheist - "I don't believe anything I read in the Bible.... but what I read says everyone else is wrong!"

You really just made that argument? Really? You are citing a book..... a book you don't believe.... to say others are wrong? You don't see the hilarious irony in that?

It's funny because if you used that logic in any other context, you would be laughed off the planet.
Try that at any major university, on any other other subject. Make sure to take a video of you trying it. You can make some money on youtube.x

I disagree.

He hasn't read the Bible. He demonstrates again and again that he has no clue what's in it.

Look at his characterization of the new testament. If he was at all familiar with Acts 5:1-10 or the Book of Revelation he wouldn't be able to say the new testament was different than the old in regards to God.

If he knew the old testament and how God repeatedly pleads with Israel to repent and be healed he wouldn't claim the God of the old testament was different than the new.

Despite the fact that Matt supposedly loves education, he has not bothered to educate himself on what the scriptures say or many other matters. He prefers a hedonistic lifestyle. Yet it hasn't made him happy. And he can't understand why those who follow God are happy

The Zionist variety of right wing Christians are not Christians at all. Their theology is satanic and they have blood lust.

As for killing in the NT, Jesus tells of God's vengeance upon the Jews (the children of Satan), for murdering Jesus, in which they will be horribly massacred in a great tribulation, worse than anything the world had never seen before. And, Jesus also introduced the modern concept of Hell, an after-life of eternal torment, if Jesus is to be taken literally, such as the story of the rich Jew thrown into agonizing fire.

Matt

I invite you to come to Jesus Christ and learn of Him. You may not know this, but He loves you. He loves you so much He went through agonizing torture for you. So agonizing that He bled from every pore.

You are created in the image of God. You are a spirit son of God. You have an immeasurable worth to both Him and countless others you know and have not yet met.

You are not alone.

You believe in education. I invite you to study the Bible and Book of Mormon in depth. It doesn't matter if you don't believe them now. Study them if only so you can understand those that do better. I don't believe in Islam but I've studied it. There is much to learn by studying things in they matter.

I invite you to make a pattern of prayer and ask God to feel His love for you. Even if the only faith you can muster is faith that if He is there He can answer you. I invite you to pray over the Bible and especially the Book of Mormon. Ask Him if they are true. I promise you if you humbly, diligently, and sincerely seek an answer He will reveal Himself.

Come, experiment on the Word of God. Do these things and you will know for yourself that God lives and that He loves you.

I think you are confusing two different things.

Christians who believe in the Jews regathering in the land of Israel, and slaughtering the enemies of the Jews.... believe that because that is what the Bible predicted, and it happened.

I don't *WANT* anyone to be slaughtered. If it were up to me, I would want everyone to come to repentance, and follow the Lord, in peace and love.

But the Bible says..... this is going to happen. And it has happened. The Jews did go back to their ancient land. They have returned to a pure form of Hebrew. They have fought against all of their enemies on every side, and won.

Try and think of this another way......

Let's say I know someone who is an alcoholic, and is beating his wife. I could say this guy is going to get worse, start missing work, end up divorced, and wrecking his entire life.

Then when it happens, everyone would scream at me "You hate marriages and support destroying families!".... no. I don't *want* that to happen. It's simply what is going to happen.

In fact a real life example, I had a lady friend who was living with her boyfriend for about 3 years. One day, I happen to ask when they intended to marry, and she responded that they were never going to marry. I happen to say that likely the relationship wouldn't last, and one day she would come home to an empty house. Because that is generally what happens if you don't get married, and just shack up.

Fast forward 18 months later, she came home one day, and the entire house was empty. He left no note, no reason, no indication of where he was going. He just left her, and found someone else (which she learned of later through social media). Thankfully she didn't remember our short conversation a year and a half before.

But would you say that I support broken hearts, ruined relationships and anger and bitterness between people? Simply because I called out what would happen if they didn't do relationships right? No. I didn't *want* them to fall apart. I just called it as I saw it.

My point is....

Most Christians I know, at least in the circles i run in, are not *wanting* there to be war and mass blood shed in the middle east. We just read the Bible. The Bible said for thousands of years, that the people of Israel would be regathered to that land. The Bible said for thousands of years, that they would be at war with those around them, and that they would win.

The Bible made it clear, these things would happen. And they did.... and are happening.

I don't want anyone over there to be killed. But that is what the Bible says is going to happen.

Jesus restored Israel at Pentecost by establishing the Church. You belong to a pseudo-Christian cult that blasphemes about the identity of God's people.

Your cult does does want war and mass bloodshed. That's why they were the biggest cheerleaders for Bush's WMDs lies about Iraq. That's why they're badgering Trump to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal. That's why they want even more military spending, when our spending is already beyond a level that any country would attack us. That's why they want Israel to be even more belligerent toward her neighbors. Zionists are sick, vile, and satanic.

In John 8:44, Jesus says Jews are children of the devil. Who do you say Jews are?

I think Jesus was talking about you.

After all, if you are going to make up stuff, and that's how debate works in your world, is you just make up stuff about people you don't know, then I can make up stuff about you. I think Jesus was talking about you. It was prophesy about idiots on a forum in the future, who think debate is where you just randomly make up things about other people.

So there you go. That's what I think.

When you grow up, and want to discuss topics rationally, let me know. But I want to talk to adults, and if you are not an adult, I'll move on.

Who separated them from their land? God. God??

Why did he do that to them?

Was God punishing them for being ungodly for these thousand plus years before their return?

By accusing me of making what I said up, you show you know neither the content nor character of the Bible. Now, try to show that you're not a total coward and answer my question, on context of what Jesus aid.
