He went on to kill three kids and two adults. Tell us again how having armed staff stops school shootings.

And to your specific point about armed guards... why did the school not have armed guards? This wasn't NY or CA where so-called liberal laws would have stopped the school from carrying guns. This was Tennessee. So, why didn't the school have armed guards? Who was stopping them?

However, how far does it go?

What if you have a kid that never showed any inclination to do something like that and was taught good safety procedures? What if you kept your firearms locked up but the kid (17, 18 years old) finds a way to get to them?

Remember what happen at Sandy Hook. The guns were locked up but the kid killed his mother and then stole the guns and did his crime.
