The most commonly used analysis I've heard on the difficult question of indicting a former prez is, with the overwhelming amount of evidence being revealed that Trump committed multiple crimes against the country, it would be worse if he were not prosecuted. Not indicting a sitting prez is one thing. Lol, there is Fox and Newsmax yet no secret service on there telling a different story. Until one speaks up on camera the testimony is not debunked.So far nobody has been allowed to testify other than their hand picked and probably coached witnesses and nobody has been allowed on the commission who will challenge those witnesses about any testimony.
I don't know if the divider was up or not but for sure the idea DJT would attempt to grab the steering wheel from the right side of the back seat is ludicrous on the face of it. Further the driver and secret service agent in the car are willing to testify under oath that this incident never happened, that Trump never assaulted or interfered with them in any way. Will they be allowed to testify before the Jan 6 commission? Of course not.
