Republicans have become more protective of free speech, but the shift among Democratic voters is startling. In 2018, just 40 percent of Democrats supported censorship by the government and Big Tech. It is now 65 percent.

Republicans have become more protective of free speech, but the shift among Democratic voters is startling. In 2018, just 40 percent of Democrats supported censorship by the government and Big Tech. It is now 65 percent.

Great give the government full power against us. What could go wrong?

I'm the only one I'd trust with the power to censor speech, because I'd get it right.

I view this more as the human condition than the modern democrat party.

After the US had fought a bloody revolution to be free from the tyranny of the British crown, the same people promptly passed the Alien and Sedition acts that made it illegal to speak about against the government.

Luckily, Jefferson later overturned most of it. What was Left FDR used to lock up innocent Japanese Americans during WW2.

As the documentary points out, freedom of speech is found basically nowhere else in the world as it is in the US, and each day those freedoms seem to naturally wane away.
