After peace treaties were signed with Egypt and Jordan, many Israelis went to visit those countries. Turkey was also a favorite spot for Israeli tourists until recently, when Turkey turned anti-Israel. (I know this because I have Israeli relatives.) Israelis are avid travelers, by the way.
