When I was scheduled for surgery last year, the first thing I asked about was covid vaccines and whether I should have a booster before I had surgery.

I have a friend, who went to an allergy specialist who refused to treat her until she quit smoking. Why would he waste his time on her, when there are other people he could help who are non-smokers, and would get more benefit from his treatment.

There was a waiting list for this allergy specialist. Just as there’s a waiting list for kidney transplant. These are the protocols. If you’re not prepared to follow them, well then, NEXT.

I don’t know. I’m not a medical professional, and I don’t pretend to be one on the Internet.

I have no knowledge of transplant protocols. But if my surgeon says to wear brown shoes to the hospital for my life saving surgery, then I’m gonna put on my brown shoes and go to the hospital.

I had knee replacement surgery last year. I waited for the top specialist in the area to be available for my surgery. He has a long waiting list and Covid lockdowns extended my wait by nearly a year.

I was given a long to do list before my surgery and I did everything on the list. I waited so long for that surgery I was not going to do anything to screw it up.

This woman takes all kinds of drugs and treatments in a month for her kidney problems. I do know that Dialysis shortens your life expectancy because I had a friend who was on Dialysis. This woman is balking at taking a safe vaccine and choosing to stay on Dialysis.

There is no sanity or logic in that position.

Quite frankly, I haven’t heard of a single person who genuinely got sick from the vaccine. There’s a program in Canada for vaccine injury they’ve had 50 claims and we are 80% fully vaccinated. That’s approximately 30 million people who have had more than two shots each.

I haven’t even heard of anyone getting Covid around here for months now, however summer is coming and this is a tourist town.

Giving a kidney to a noncompliant patient is unfair to the people who need a kidney and are compliant.

She’s not being punished. if 65% of the hospital transplant hospitals in the US don’t require vaccination, why doesn’t she go to one of them?

She has other choices.

If she wants this specific hospital to treat her, it’s their liability insurance and their rules. She has no right or standing to dictate how they practice medicine. This is a private company and she has no enforceable right to treatment at this facility.

The unvaxxed are not a protected class.
