No. I don't see how you jumped to such a absurd conclusion. A huge majority of Germans supported Hitler. Gun control had NOTHING to do with it. The supporters of the Third Reich would have surrendered ANYTHING , and that was the problem. They surrendered reason and individuality. THAT was the real issue, the fact they gave up freedom of speech or to own a weapon, secondary. You miss the point.
